Anyone else think this latest change should make a tutorial a higher priority? Game keeps getting more complicated....look at the stats page? Where damage and defense are listed, it doesn't even say physical or energy damage anymore, just blue or green lettering. How many newbies won't be able to figure that out, especially younger kids? Lots of little things like that, weapon upgrades, cores, if you weren't already pretty deep into the game, you wouldn't know about. We won't be able to expand the player base if new players can't figure out how to play.

it doesn't show our armor defence + reistance from before its hidden now

Yes, a tutorial would surely help the new players to get to know how the game works. I remember that back when I started (in gamma), I had no idea how the game worked and it actually took me a few weeks to even realise that there were two damage types *facepalm* and even longer to get to know how defence and resistance worked and what they scaled with. And now, there are much more functions in the game so it wouldn't be surprising if the new players had absolutely no idea of what they are doing.

I see this as a cosmetic update really but I do see the improvement by removing the impact from the rounding system for a handful of skills

it seems fun, and i went back in today for like 15 minutes.. i lost connection 4 times, in 15 minutes, and finished a total of 1 match... you guys might have to check some connections, cause this hasn't happened to me on any other game...

The one thing I love about this update is the high damage. Now I feel like I'm doing a lot of damage even if it is only 5 compared to the old system.

there is no advertisement and the unbalance causes ppl to quit as there aren't much newcomers.

also aperantly staff lied about it being a balance update.

The Developers lied? So you haven't even played EpicDuel since the update? When everything got multiplied by 10, that wasn't the end of the story. Static Grenade got changed and there are other things which also got altered.

EpicDuel can't decide to have adverts, AE have to decide. Since AQW is AE's major game, that get adverts because it's something people like. People don't like EpicDuel because of how it is supposed to be played. It's too complex in their mind but isn't everything like that when you start?
EpicDuel does have adverts on some websites, find out. Looks like you're just saying things without evidence.

the stat multiplication only fixed the bug with scaling , still considered a bug fix.

and from ppl feedback i guess they didn't really balance anything , the changes to some skills aren't really balance as 3 skills slightly changing isn't a balance update , everything is still unbalanced.

Then why don't you stop bickering and suggest ways to make the game better in balance? Are those your opinion or is it really a bug fix?

King Helios I don't think that is even possible.

Basically people like you and me who just came back might do well to start a new account and experiment with things at the low end and then transfer what you learned to the high end

WB, King Helios. Obviously, biggest change is stats. No biggie there, health and damage just got multiplied by 10, intended as a fix for rounding in the old system, every stat point increases something now, it's nice. The next biggest thing is the new weapon, Abyss Slayer, has a core that nerfs all healing on the target by 50% for 3 turns. Until it gets nerfed due to people being unable to outthink it, its pretty good. Oh, and TM is current OP class. That's about it.

EDIT: oh yeah, almost forgot, level cap got raised to 40.

Further highlighting the need for 2v2 to give more xp, no one playing 2v2 has even hit 38 that I have seen, I think I've seen ONE level 37.

Those trying to get to the top are doing 1 vs 1 because those fights go a lot faster than 2 vs 2. Doing that plus using the flavor of the week build give them fast results. 2 vs 2 while it is fun sadly isn't good for high level grinding.

What do you mean 'flavour of the week build'? Those build, which is being used by 1v1 players', have existed for weeks.
