Players love feeling special and, most of all, they love being different from other players. Sure, items have loss their uniqueness because of all weapons having the same stats and everything so we really like to brag about the art (the weapons we have and armors and stuff).

At the moment you have 3 legendary shops. I would like to suggest a 4th for rank 100 players (since one maxes out all legendary slots at rank 100), that has varium only items. This will allow players to customize their characters knowing that they will be unique and that only a few other players in the game will have the same gear they have.

If you decide to put in cores then they should be cores with the same effect of current cores, just either slightly different artwork/effect (like physical frostshards or Aux energy shot). In order to be fair, no damage %s should be changed .

Players like customizing and being different than each other, players like being exclusive. So this shop will by far be a hit

Why varium only? That ruins the whole purpose of people feeling special since F2P players can't even enjoy the rewards to show off.

I support the idea of adding another legendary ranks shop. However, as mentioned by Exploding Penguin, a F2P player will not be able to buy these said items even though he or she has worked as hard as varium players to achieve such a high rank. This defeats the motive of feeling unique amongst the entire community as a high ranked player.

I understand that you are merely seeking a way for varium players to look more unique than F2P players, however the suggestion you made involves ranks of which F2P players have a part in. I see no reason as to why F2P players should be alienated from this shop you're suggesting, as mentioned before, they worked as hard as varium players to achieve that rank, if not harder - as varium players are also able to purchase boosters to reach their rank quicker when compared to F2P players.

Thanks for the comments guys. I see where you both are coming from so, in that case, I would like to propose the solution of some of the items instead of all being varium only. In its current state, varium is mainly just used to change class and buy armors or weapons that are available for credits. Sure it is just supposed to be a shortcut, however it should allow individuals to purchase unique weapons that aren't available to the rest of the community (Malefic Armor, Dages armor, etc) which will, indefinitely, make players feel more as individuals.

Varium already does this with certain seasonal rare items.

The Aphrodite's woe sword as well as some bikes and armors are as you mentioned varium only and they are just this unique.

Maybe if such shops were introduced when "no lifers" complained that they had nothing to do after reach leveling cap, then such system will present a better option than the ranking system that affects directly the balance of the game, presenting such systems like legendary shops, credits sink cheevos, wars, legendary battles, missions, and other systems, would've been more than enough to entertain majority of those who complained about "having nothing to do", without even sacrificing with the game balance, to satisfy a minority.

Every veteran player gifting has brought, this year, or the last one, has been disgusted by the situation of PVP in ED, so I guess if PVP was more balanced, more player would've sticked in rather than just accumulate credits through out this event.

Those same 'no lifers' also wanted enhancements to comeback in some shape or form as well which was also part of the reason why the staff made ranks give tiny bits of power at that point. No one back then was complaining about making lengendary shops. That only came when players who were on the receiving end of beatings wanted ranks (the power they gave) to vanish but at the same time wanted to compensate them for the power they would lose.

Well im going to interpret that as this shop won't affect balance so that's a good thing.

@Mother: I understand what you mean however, in this case, this shop will be even more distinguished since literally anyone can buy the Aphrodite swords/armors.

What makes this shop unique is that it will have unique weapons and cores that allow players to be even more flexible with their builds such as Physical frostshards, or Aux energy shot (simple cores)

I'm not saying that there shouldn't be a legendary-like system, at all, I mean through out ED history, there was something that gave a bunch of players advantage over others, notably in Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta, there was varium (cash), majorely represented by unique OP varium weapons alongside enhancements. This system was purely a pay to win one.
And then we have Omega with legendary system (time), a play to win system, majorely represented by ranks.

Devs replaced enhancements with ranks, now the thing is here, everyone agrees that ranks are better, because they are more fair, but is it always the case? sure under 2 conditions:
- If it wasn't abused (by botting).
- If it didn't create huge gaps on long term.

Legendary system in the short term is great, since after its release, all players will be close to each other, no big gaps, and even if any player just hits 40 3 - 6 months after the release, he or she will still have a chance to rank up, since the advantage gap is not that important.
But on the long term, 2 years for instance, this system is a total fail, especially if there isn't regular repairing or at least monthly patches, and since we don't have any of these thanks to the huge amount of dedicated testers we have, this system will become even worst. (At least the underdog mode saved the situation, for a bit).

But then the real argument is, if it's better keeping the legendary system or removing it?, the answer to this question could've been easier if ED was really balanced but it isn't, since if you remove the advantage, all players will end up having exactly the same amount of stats, and skill trees, same weapons, same builds, same everything, exposing the true issues of balance so luck factors then would be way more broken, especially when it comes to who starts first, ofcourse I'm not sure if ED without legendary system would be better or not, unless a tester does that for us, but I think they already did and found out it's worst.

We could've dodged all these problems by introducing a balance-friendly, legendar system-like, all while satisfying the needs of no lifers with different harmless systems that I mentioned before, but then it's too late to say this, sure such systems is here, but we don't have enough testers to create a new balance friendly system to replace legendary system, or remove the legendary system itself since it is too late.

Good idea berzerker, and there are var only armor in the current 3 shops. Maybe majority creds and a few var. Also a shame how Machaar makes almost everything about ranks(and if he comments about this I'll ignore).

well as you know ginger having a 100 + ranks shop can effect pvp you know , as in will give u 10 more str , 20 more dex , 30 , more tech , 40 more support just cause u bought from rank 100 + (SHOP) that's how will it effect pvp .

That makes no sense. This 100+ rank shop doesn't grant you any extra stats. Just cooler and more exclusive art.

PVP WILL NOT BE AFFECTED IN ANYWAY WITH THIS SUGGESTION. If ANYTHING, equal but different cores will be implemented like a Physcial Frost Shards or Energy Shot for your aux

what does ranks have to do with how u dress up ? unless u were stating at pvp :)

Lol he asked me why I brought ranks into the dicussion. Well because, were there any suggestions about legendary shops when there weren't ranks?
I still can't find where I said legendary shops affect PVP here, unless you have another way of making conclusions.
I will give you another chance. State (Quote) where I clearly said Legendary shops do affect PVP. I will give you 2 cookies this time .
