    Description: Warlic has taught you an enhanced version of the skill that allowed you to fight the Brilhado seraph! Gain increased damage and accuracy with light attacks, as well as ability to fly.


    I'm also going through my old player bosses and revamping them so they can actually be implemented (players cannot be canon...). Thus, my CH4OT1C! boss has become the Bird of Equilibrial Chaos.

    Suggested minor update to my implemented Slime Barrier shield - Incorporate a toggle costing 10% Melee per turn (39 SP), which increases the HP healed per hit from (5*0.85/0.85/2) = 2.5% Melee to (15*0.85/0.85/2) = 7.5% Melee.

  • When casting an ice spell, it will deal -50% damage and will attempt to Burn the enemy (Ice element, 100 / 0.5 / 10 * (85 / 85) / 8 = 2.5 Power, 8 rounds). The monster can resist at a +0 bonus*:

  • Balance-wise: While this item can inflict poison, the potency of the damage increase is not halved because it only inflicts if the enemy is already poisoned.     Appeareance: A glass vial of green liquid.
    Description: Inside this glass vial is a liquid that can enhance the potency of all manner of toxins! While not harmful by itself, it can increase the potency of, as well as the damage dealt by, any poisonous substances already affecting your foe!

    MC Light Wand. Compresses a light spell and can cause all light spells to inflict burns. The attacks from this wand are considered spells.

  • When casting a light spell, the spell deals -10% damage (20% Melee) and the enemy becomes Burned (Power 20 / 0.5 / 10 * ( 85 / 85) / 1 = 4, 1 turn). Your enemy can resist at a +0 bonus*:

    Effect:
  • Standard soft damage cap, Form Shift Immunity, and Freedom.
  • It has permanent Celerity*. To compensate, its attacks deal *0.5 damage. It also takes a further damage penalty to gain the 'Predator's Gaze' status, which makes all of its attacks autohit. Finally, it has Initiative bonus +1000.

    *This is renamed to 'Lightweight' with the description: Body made of lightweight metal. Weakens strikes, but allows the target to strike more than once in a row

  • The boss' regular attack is 6 hits of Wind damage. Each of these hits takes a major damage penalty can make you Bleed. This bleed works a little differently; it does not stack with itself, and instead creates an entirely new instance. Its offensive monster lean also factors into the power of the Bleed. You can resist each of these inflictions at a -20 bonus*:

  • Due to the unique way this bleed works, the number of bleed instances is capped at 30 to prevent the game from excessively lagging. The boss detects the number of bleed instances on the player, and if it's >= 30, its attacks will instead deal full Wind/Light seeking damage.
  • If the boss has enough MP, it can spend it on a quickcast spell to fully reflect 50% of the damage dealt to the boss back at the player (this means the boss takes -50% damage and the damage dealt is reflected)*. When this happens, the boss can also consume an instance of bleed on the player to give them a version of the Predator's Gaze status for 1 turn (i.e. their attacks will autohit).

    The Silverwing's enchanted feathers shine like a mirror!

  • The boss is also able to consume bleed instances on the player to (i) Temporarily disable misc items, and (ii) heal MP. It will consume bleed whenever it has enough to disable miscs, but will only consume for MP healing when it runs low.
  • If the boss has enough SP, it will spend it on a quickcast skill that offers 4 turns of flat damage reduction. This applies after the MP backlash skill (so the player receives half the damage of the unmodified attack).
  • Finally, when the boss is running low on HP (<10%), it will instead switch to consuming Bleed instances to increasing the damage of its attacks and have them Seek between Light/Wind.

    Appearance:
  • The boss looks like a large Razorwing with mirror-like scales and a crown. Its feathers glow. When attacking, the boss attacks similar to the minion of the necragon armour.
    Description: Until now, little was known about the elusive razorwing species beyond their metal feathers and an instinct for fixating on their prey. Based on this somewhat... larger specimen, however, you can now testify that their feathers can be enchanted, and that their predatory gaze considers YOU to be a viable target!

  • MC Effect: Comes with a quickcast skill costing 100% Melee. This skill does two things: (i) Grant an Elemental Shield to Wind element attacks (-50/1.4 = -35.7% damage, 1 round), and attempts to inflict a stronger bleed when hit for the next turn (0.5*[HitsConnected]/[HitsAttempted] Power). This can be resisted with the same Bonus as above. Note the base shield bleed is still active and applied on top of this.

    Appearance: A shield covered in the feathers of the Silverwing boss.
    Description: Forged from the enchanted feathers of a Silverwing, this shield is sharp enough to shred any foe that gets too close! You can infuse it with your own energy (SP) to boost its defensive and lacerating capabilities!

    Changes:
  • Daze no longer has a duration. Instead, it only has a Power value.
  • A Power 1 Daze is equivalent to one monster inaction (Personally, I believe this should be 140% Melee. However, currently Daze is valued at 119% Melee (140*0.85)). This means that items which apply Daze add to this value.
  • Each monster turn, Daze Power decreases by up to 1 ([ConsumedDaze]). Every turn, the monster has a 100*[ConsumedDaze]% chance of being unable to act.
  • The power of an inflicted Daze is worth [%Melee] / 140 * (85 / [ItemAccuracyLean]).
  • Consuming Daze for other effects is worth 140(*0.85)*[Power]% Melee.

    Costs 75% Melee in SP (294 SP) and 25% Melee in HP (87 HP). Spell-type Skill, inaccurate lean (-5 BTH; *85/80 damage). Deals -50% damage to inflict a Drain Poison (Fire Element;Power: 100/0.7/2/10*85/80)/3 = 2.53; 3 turns; heals SP equal to 112.5% of the damage dealt. Same save as above*

    *Your foe is afflicted with poisons that sap their strength!
    Your foe manages to avoid being poisoned!

    3). Pride
    Costs 25% Melee in HP (98 HP). Spell-type Skill, inaccurate lean (-5 BTH; *85/80 damage). Deals pure damage. Before the attack starts, you gain Berserk (-15 BTH; *85/70 damage) for 2 turns.

  • All skills above use DEX for stat bonuses.

    Effects:

  • You pay 30% Melee in HP for the autohit. You pay a further 20% Melee for Harm damage. MC reduces this to 40% Melee total (140 HP).

    Appearance: A spear made of blue energy is conjured. This is thrown at the enemy to deal damage.

    A bit similar/clone of Mana Spear above but as an auto-hit overcharged Harm damage.

    May we also have an auto-hit overcharged Harm damage MPCost / SPCost spell flavours,
    has no damage penalty but you pay in HP for the auto-hit overcharged Harm damage?

    Regarding an overcharged version: typically overcharged spells/skills don't also have a HP cost. It would be possible to make it overcharged (and I wouldn't necessarily mind this), but it probably couldn't have a HP cost too. There are a couple ways I could envisage going about it:
    1) Standard overcharged spell (+175% Melee MP cost; 915 MP at Lv 150; +25% damage; +50% Melee). You would then pay 30% Melee for autohit and 20% for Harm damage, as well as gaining the +10% Melee from MC. This would result in a spell that deals 210% Melee (+2.5% damage on a normal spell) for 915 MP.
    2) A Blood cost (+100% Melee in HP; 349 HP at 150; +50% damage +100% Melee). This would then take the above penalties and MC bonus for a total of 260% Melee (+30% damage) for 653 MP and 349 HP.
    Option 1 is by far the more realistic, as the other would likely be seen as too overpowered. I'm not going to alter my original design here because we already have an overcharged harm Spell in Runic Binding.

    Regarding the SP cost version: Absolutely. I'll add this to the suggestion.

    The option 1 is OK. Thank you. The Runic Binding is not auto-hit.

    Would it be possible to suggest a similar version of Mana Spear
    as a MRM Darkness/Harm weapon, has no damage penalty but
    you pay in HP and SP for the auto-hit and +20% Darkness/Harm damage?

    It could be as a GGB UR or a Z-Token Package or ...
