Ruby: Yo, <Character>. I've got this recipe in mind, but it needs something with some extra kick. Something rare. Exotic.
<Character>: Wow, that sounds intriguing, Ruby! Where would you go to find something like that?
Ruby: Thanks for offering to help, <Character>. As it turns out, it only grows in—
<Character>: I didn't!
Ruby: Are you sure? I could've sworn... Well, anyway, it only grows in the underground caves of the perpetually windswept lands of Ovungu Zoyo.
<Character>: That sounds... incredibly dangerous.
Ruby: I knew you'd be up for the task! I've been all over the place in my adventuring days, Ovungu Zoyo included, and if I've managed, so will you!
<Character>: I—
<Character>: I guess I'm doing this, aren't I.
Ruby: The ingredient I need is called an Erythrocitrus. You'll know it when you see it.
Ruby: Don't forget to stop and take in the landscape! It's quite breathtaking.
Ruby: Literally.
Ruby: Try taking shallow breaths while traversing the region, or else the incredibly strong winds might suck the air out of ya! Maybe.
Ruby: And that would be very interesting!
<Character>: Uhh...
Ruby: Off you go, I've got cookery to do!
*You fight your way through various monsters as you attempt to locate the cave where the Erythrocitrus grows; once found, and the fruit retrieved from inside, you return to Falconreach and give Ruby her request.*
Ruby: Acceptable.
Ruby: It'll have to do.
<Character>: Not even a thank you!
*Ruby simply throws the Erythrocitrus into the large cauldron of stew; you appear shocked at the lack of care taken with the hard-won fruit. Nothing appears to happen.*
<Character>: Um.
<Character>: That's it?
<Character>: It's not going to... glow bright colors, explode out of the pot, come to life, and attack the townspeople?
Ruby: Of course not.
Ruby: It's just a spice.
*You and Ruby share a moment of awkward silence.*
Ruby: Does that happen often when you cook?
<Character>: Well, no, but I'm just used to—
Ruby: You'll have to invite me next time it happens. Sounds like a delicious opportunity.
<Character>: Right...
Ruby: Now, shoo! I'll call everyone over when it's ready!

There is a HP/MP healing pad halfway through this quest, just outside the entrance to the cave.
