Returning Player here. I'm having a bit of trouble trying to determine which class to play. I hate jumping back and forth all the time, but I can't seem to land on one.

I go back and forth between Master SW, DmK, DL, and RW. I'm wondering what class you guys play and why?

IMO the only right answer to the question "Which class should I play?" is "Whatever you feel like playing at the moment". The game isn't so hard as to necessitate the use of one class over another, unless you're in a place like the Inn (which I won't elaborate further as that's a whole new can of worms I don't wanna touch). Different classes have different playstyles, so just go with your own whims, I guess.

Personally, I hop between Ascendant and Chaosweaver for general questing. If I get too bored of those two, then I'll just go for those classes which I don't use much, like Avatar of Time, Ninja, Dimensional Transphaser, Soulweaver, etc.

Technomancer is a good overall class, necromancer is a great defensive class, ranger is really good for bosses, Ninja is a really good farming class(though you have dmk which is good too) and Dread Pirate is good for farming too with its broken multi attack. RW is a great class as well and dl is a good tanking class, especially if you get the Patience Dragonlord Trinket.

I really enjoy running the Necromancer class, cause of the ability to heal from enemy attacks for two turns. It's great against bosses that tell you when they're about to use a massive attack.
