Hello, fellow heroes villains forumites of Lore... err, the forums!
Welcome to my, uh, gallery, and uh, leave your comment with feedback/critiques/compliments (?) because I crave the attention. (?)
This thread obviously has a purpose: to share all of my DF-related art with you. I really hope you like it. Enjoy!

Photoshop CS2 is the same that I am using aha. I just started using it this month though, so perhaps my comfort in the program will increase.
But anyways outstanding gallery, I cannot wait to see more from you!

 It occurred to me that even though I adore your drawings and your OC Emrys/Heart's design, I've never once said anything here. Or dA.

So. Yes, I really like your sketches, especially of Apprentice plus the more recent one of Celestia and Artix, and I like the style you used on your drawing of Atlas Maxwell and the In the Shadows WIP. Dracelix looks swell too; he's an old piece by now, I know, but he looks so weary. Yet chill, experienced, battle-ready, and limber as well. Not as sturdy as we usually know him. It might appear that way to me mostly 'cause he's supposedly staring off across the ocean during a calm day though. And he has half-lidded eyes. With a gentle breeze ruffling his hair and clothes.

...yeahh. I don't know if you hate that one of Dracelix since it's been over 2 years since you made it. However, I'm still in love with it. It can be better, of course—it just radiates personality to me. ♥

As for your most recent work, maybe you'll find the first part of this helpful if you're trying to get your digital paintings resembling your sketches more? The trick tends to make your lines slightly transparent unfortunately, and might not be what you're looking for, but it's an idea up for grabs. Otherwise, the form's pretty good. More defined and/or darker shading could be nice too.

Nah, I don't hate the Dracelix piece at all. I mean, I actually really like how it came out... except for two things: that horrible, half-a**ed ocean, and the fact that his design doesn't match his Book 3 appearance. (It's not a bad thing per se, but it does make it outdated...)

Ah, nice tutorial! It might be better that the "method" I used, which it doesn't even let you see the actual colours. (I know I'm not so good at colouring, and I should practice more, but well....) I might try it with the Celestia & Artix sketch once I have the time. You know, when I don't need to study for exams. *innocently whistles* And after I'm finished with Seppy, Drakath, and a request from someone in dA.


EDIT (lol): Discovered the "luminance to transparency" option in SAI and changed Emrys' skin color, and now she looks kinda acceptable. haha
