EXPONENTIAL!
poetry
This is just a crazy new idea I had for a poetic form. Basically, the pattern follows thusly:
1 line that is 1 letter long
2 lines that are 2 letters long
3 lines that are 3 letters long
And so on and so forth. We'll give it a shot.
I
Am
Me.
I am,
I do;
See
How I
Do, or
Who I
Am. If
These
Aren't
My own,
Then I
Do not
Have my
Own Way
To live;
I do not,
Myself,
Own who
I am, but I
Am owned
By all my
Desires;
Will and
Passion
Have not
Overcome
This foul
Problem I
Face. But I
Hope that,
Someday, I
Can stand
On my own, a
Better and
More solid
Measure of
A man. Truly,
We all hope
For this, to
Transform
Ourselves
Into those
Heroes we've
Worshiped. I
Know that we
All reach so
Eagerly for a
Taste of how
It feels for
Man to be god;
Be complete
Perfection.
