They have been taking one slots in my inventory for a long time now.

I did not see any mission needing it, did i miss it?

Probably not though. There are no missions requiring it as of now, so just be patient, because the devs have confirmed that it will have a use, as with the red gem, in the (hopefully near) future.

I am taking the logic side in which says that golden bullets are better than normal bullets.. So most likely it will be for a gun .. a strong one.. or a item for temporary power enchantment. Which i really doubt.

Or to trade with some gun-fanatic npc.

I think it will be the same like with the Red Gem. You will get some credits for them.

its just a dead space and you cant get rid of it they are trying to fill up your inventory so you have to buy more :P

lol no it will be used in some future mission for a lvl 20 sidearm im sure :P

Gold bullets are soft and cannot be fired, forcing you to buy a new gun :D
and the red gem melts away your armor's backpack, forcing you to buy another

 How about from PackBot? Low price Health Drinks (+35 hp back) and a new backpack (2x the slots you have) for 1200 varium.

The red gem can be used at xrall. Turn it in for 1000 credits. Just in case some people didn't know.
