Yeah, but eventually you get weapons that are better than the other stuff and you dont need to get anything more unless it is WAY better than what you already have.

I sit on both sides of the fence on this.

check out my bounty hunter http://www.epicduel.com/charpage.asp?id=toadborg ....I cannot compete at all with the items he has,
yet to me he seems really well geared. note that I'm not a strength abuser. the pistol is weak, and the aux is so so.

now my mage on the other hand http://www.epicduel.com/charpage.asp?id=mechanicus ....isnt that much better geared but is
able to compete at the highest level easily, except against smart strength bounty hunters.

my point is, it does seem like you need to spend regularly to be able to compete at the top level, but if you can handle some really
depressing one sided losses then you dont need to purchase anything for months [my bounty was geared from free offers btw]

For me a ''sale'' is the prices are lowered.. Never seen that here.
