 Poison Arrow Vial

«Misc item that allows bows to poison monsters, or increases your damage with bows against poisoned monsters.»

Activation: 0 turns

Effects:
  • When equipped, all Bow attacks have a (# of hits connected) / (# of hits attempted) chance of attempting to Poison* the monster. The poison has a power of 0.2, lasts for 3 rounds, and does 0 damage each round. The monster gets a +0 bonus to its save**:
      Level: 5 vs MonsterLvl
      Major: 20 vs MonsterEND
      Minor: YourLUK vs MonsterLUK
  • If the monster is already Poisoned, your Bow attacks will not try to Poison, and instead do 103% damage***.

    Note: "Bow" here means an actual bow or crossbow that can fire arrows. This will not work with guns, wands or the like, nor will it work with armor attacks that seemingly use bows to attack (such as Death from Above of the Whispering Raiment). If you are not using a (cross)bow, the item unequips itself without costing SP†.

    Cost: 2 SP for activation and for every turn with the item equipped.

    *Your foe has been poisoned by your toxic arrows!
    **Your foe manages to resist the toxins from your arrows!
    ***The toxins amplify the damage your arrows deal to your already poisoned foe!
    †This vile vial of virulence can't be used with anything except arrows!
