How do you counter OP stuff?

 I energy drain to weaken STR Hunters but that only limits their damage output by removing or delaying massacre

 Best way to take out strength hunters is to use assimilate and pray you don't get blocked by their 20-30% block chance. EMP is still good to ensure they don't kill you, but you can't deal damage on the same turn you emp, which is a problem.

 EMP is more affective against STR hunters in my mind because assim can be countered by static charge while EMP can take a large chunk of their energy

^ That one is easy,

Blood mages are the only class without an energy regain.


A high lvl emp destroys most of their builds, but due to the poor balance the effortless spamming STR build still beats this counter.

Should change in omega though.

EMP (mine takes 40, but 35+ should be good), Reflex Boost (~30+), Heal, Charge!

^^ I beg to differ, most Blood Mages use energy boosts and reflex boost, which gives them back energy, so it makes it tough to implement that strategy.

@ Clutch I often use the double EMP strategy.

Dont forget EMP has only 2 CD.

In most cases EMPing agian when they try to use energy regain via reflex and boosters will just be a fail attempt with another EMP ready and waiting.

If you make it so you build has enough energy to EMP twice then you should counter them :)

hum i think ur totaly wrong cose reflex boost is kinda like a 15% rerout and they can just use an E booster

^ They still need energy to cast the reflex boost so technically they have no energy regain if they have no energy excluding boosters.

If you take there energy with a double EMP they should be hopeless, unless of coarse they spam the Bleep out of STR and kill you before you can shout OP.

^ HAHAH good point didnt really think it through,

What I mean is BMs are the most vulnerable to energy drains the most.


BHs can easily chuck out another EMP if they get enregy drained to even levels where as blood mages are essentially stuck with less energy

Blood Mage is the only class without an energy regain, or steal which puts them at a sever disadvantage. Or does it? Nope, because you dont need energy regain when you hit 50's with your guns ^^

Then they must not say that bm doesnt REGAIN energy instead of STEALING.
If they only want to talk about stealing, dont start about regain.

Ok, lets try this for the 3rd time.

BM is the only class that cannot regain energy or steal energy. All other classes can do at least one of each. =)
