I'm going to start off by saying I really like this game. A lot of different options and creativity but when it comes to other players... Not so much. I conducted a little test just now as a level 32 TM. The test was to see the amount of 5 focus builds and their level out of 25 fights.
I faced 22/25 level 35 5 focus users. 17 of those were BH. I faced 11 of them in a row. The other 3 were low level scatter builds.
I feel like this game gave up on originality and something seriously needs to happen because if you're not 5 focus tech abuse BH or TLM you're pretty much losing.
Now I know some of you have good creative builds that are fun and win but for every single other player, it's getting a little ridiculous and I'm tired of it. Get rid of diminishing stats for creativity or anything that can help this because I can't enjoy this game anymore if all you do is essentially fight the same build over and over and over and get wiped all over the floor by them.
I'm not necessarily requesting a nerf for anything, I just really want more creativity in this game. It makes it more fun for everybody :)

I said this before and I will say this again. The main reason people keep using these builds is because they are proven to give good win rates. most can give a hoot about being creative because as long as they are winning they won't change.

Nerf this build won't do anything except cause people to try to adapt, and when the next winning build is found the masses will jump to it like vultures would a carcass.

But on another note in case you haven't noticed this I have also seen high strength high support builds coming out as well, and those build do give wins against some of these focus 5 builds unless you are extremely lucky.

As I stated above I didn't ask for a nerf. I just wanted something to happen because before it was just one class with one current OP build, now it's every single class, everyone with infernal android, everyone with 5 focus. Never before has a build been this far abused as a tech spam focus build.
And by the way I wouldn't know as I haven't seen any strength support since the cyber hunter massacre during the tournament other than multiple times against beastie but that's it. Plus I don't use focus. I try to... Avoid that part of the game.

Well I have been mobbed by strength support users for 20 matches straight. Plus most of them where using the azreal's promo which makes it even harder for you to win against them unless you get extremely lucky. In my cause the one time I went first and the 2 times I deflected and blocked their supercharged attacks was when I won.

All the other times it was they go first and malf me, I counter with a shield to bait them into using their aux at 85% at the cost of 65% of the shield, use a stun move and hope for a stun/heal, then the azreal's gun them, I am forced to strike, and then they finish me off with the plasma meteor unless I get extremely lucky and have 1 HP left.

Quite frankly I have an easier time against focus TLM with surgical strike, and Focus BH then these high strength high support TM/ cyber hunters.

This definitely wasn't the point of this thread but thanks for explaining that anyways. And I have been decimated by other strength builds with the promo but I just can't seem to get around the hundreds of 35 5 focus zombies.

 It's true. The high Support and Strength builds (especially with Azrael gear) are nigh impossible to beat.

ED is a joke. The makers of the game have absolutely zero idea how to balance the game. There are really only two conclusions:

1) They actually don't want to balance the game because OP gear and classes make them the most money (people pay to win via OP promo gear or class hopping).

2) They are okay at coding but really are clueless when it comes to balancing the game, thus the constant balance screw-ups.

Actually the problem with these ''quick kill'' builds (TMs,BHs,Chs) is that the debuffs such as Smoke and Malf
have not been updated to serve the new stat system, keeping their old formulas as back in mid Delta. Same for any
shield or buff.

As a current level 32 BM I can say that those str support abusers are quite easy. Low defense and can only get through my defense with crits usually. And I wouldn't necessarily call them quick kill builds. They are just abused to the max.

 Honestly, I don't really mind the high amount of focus builds. At least each fight is different in its own way *cough* delta massacre builds *cough*.

Not that I'm supporting what I'm about to say, but a really easy way to add more build creativity is to make the luck factors all absurd, so it won't matter what build you use because luck will pretty much always determine the winner. Hopefully, this never happens...

Exploding has turned to the dark side. Do not believe in the luck. :) And you don't mind all the focus? It's all ever is anymore :(

 You know what sucks? I had to go dark side, too (5 focus Merc). You know why? Cuz losing sucks. And if I ever wanted to get the spores, it probably be impossible if I wasn't.

Same :( I had to result in switch to 3 different classes before settling on BM 5 focus

Welcome to the dark side as I have already been one even before it was so vastly popular. Though focus with certain classes don't work as well as focus with others. I rarely see any focus TM since most of them are either caster TM or Strength/Support TM.

Those are the only other variants I face. And I know you have been sporting 5 focus for a while before it got huge, respectable.

i have been using 5 focus since start of gamma.

Really hate those people who dont care about having fun as long as they are winning, makes them look like such people with boring lives..

 Just cause you don't have fun fighting a certain build type, doesn't mean you won't have fun playing as one. When I evaluate fights, I mostly look at how the opponent plays rather than their build.
