It was just stuck there so that the class wouldn't be as "oped" back in delta, it should be replaced with something that will actually help the class. It never gets to good damage evenif you spam dex.

They were trading one stun move for another so it was between plasma gernade stun grenade, and overload. Personally I think plasma gernade would have been better since due to mineral armor most Tactical merc's don't even use dex like that.

While plasma would have created better synergy I actually found stun to be extremely helpful when I used it. :P

I totally agree. For that matter, we might want to replace Plasma Grenade on CH and Stun Grenade in general. Let's get the scaling up to Overload level (or is that already the case?)

to bring it to same damage as overload, you would have to give it a weapon requirement, since the 2 grenades can be used even with swords.

They are supposed to be last resolt of luck e.g. i have 1 hp after azreals will and ia on rage. U throw grenade (increase rage) If it stuns you have rage ia back othervise you are doomed since even blocks wouldn't save you!

Well, the grenades are more useful on BH's and Ch's because they have malf and Smokescreen.

Replacing Stun with Plasma? Probably never going to happen.

Plasma is Cyber's move. It would be like replacing Plasma Cannon with bunker buster for blood mage.

Talms already have poison grenade, which is a very good skill to spam.

Stun Grenade is fine as it is IMO.

No. The opportunity cost is too high; it is far better, in terms of damage, to simply use a weapon, whether or not the opponent is nerfed. The skill remains virtually useless.

Exactly, buffing stun nade would be a DIRECT buff to TLM(and BH)

Even if you replace it, a direct buff to 5 focus.

To be honest, Stun Grenade is useless on both TLM and BHs. I don't see many invest points in the thing, in fact, I'm wondering if I should just move the skill point to some other skill that might have more use.

This made me laugh a bit, poison grenade still, well, sucks. It costs too much mana for the damage, it can easily be disabled using any of the Several mana stealers. One would think MAX would bring 39 extra damage, but when you take about 15 away (from the first strike, not the 25% or so ignored from a strike but the damage one could do without striking or poisoning) it brings in only about 24 extra damage over normal which is mediocre. Compare that to Surgical Strike which hits 25-30 extra damage, rage steals and gives life back. Normally poison would be more even on account of it's lower mp cost but both can be easily taken b/c there are so many methods to steal mana.

Stun Grenade is like pre-buff assimilation.

@caser5: Poison grenade at levels 7-ish is pretty useful given the right build type. It's a versatile skill which many people have problems countering. Poison is also one of the best ways to counter caster mages as it does good damage against their tanky defenses and ignores reroute. Since toxic grenade's cooldown is minimal, if an opponent heals out of it all you have to do is use it again.
