Ever since the introduction of the feature 2v2 has been a very dangerous place for players attempting to keep a good record due to impatient and inconsiderate players who betray their partners by leaving the battle early or missing turns. Actions need to be taken (penalties implemented) to make 2v2 more fair for everyone involved.

partner should be given a 50% increase to their cred/xp reward and doubled battle tokens for any battle in which their partner leaves early.

Any player who receives this penalty 3 times within an hour period should be banned from 2v2 battles for the next 60-90 minutes. If a player receives this ban more than 5 times in a week period they should be banned from 2v2 for the next week.

The number of times that a player has left 2v2 battles early (retreats) should be shown on their character page and in-battle stat summary. You may even want to add negative achievements which reduce a players rating score "xp" for every 100, 500, etc. "retreats" that a person has on their record.

- Lacking Guns:

Any player who enters a 2v2 battle without a gun should be considered to be 2 levels lower when finding the players for a 2v2 battle, players missing both guns wo
- Leaving Early:

Any player who leaves a 2v2 battle before dying should recieve 0 battle tokens and only 50% of the normal creds/xp for their next 2 battles. Additionally, the remaining uld be considered to be 4 levels lower. This would accommodate for the reduced stats of the player and their reduced non-strike attack options.

- Missing Turns:

Any player who misses a turn during a 2v2 battle should have their xp/cred rewards for that battle reduced by 10% for each turn missed, if they miss 3 or more turns in a single battle they should receive 0 battle tokens for both the current and next battle. Additionally, their partner should receive a 10% boost to creds/xp for each turn missed by their teammate.

Any player who receives the battle token ban from this rule more than 3 times within an hour period should receive a 30 minute ban from 2v2

I feel that these changes would make the game more fair for the person whose record is potentially tarnished by an inconsiderate partner who has no business being in 2v2. I know some people may be forced to leave/miss turns due to a poor internet connection, but if this is the case, they should not be playing 2v2 in the first place as it isn't fair to their partners. It is not uncommon for me to be ditched 3-4 times in a row, these selfish players have seriously affected my record and receive no reprisals, so they go on to do it to another player, and another, and another, and another, etc. The problem will not got better without adding sanctions against the offending players and every innocent player will continue to be unduly greivenced.

If their partner has already left early, players should be given an option to leave the battle with no loss appearing on their record. If a partner leaves before the battle begins, it should automatically end with no winners or losers.

Post Edit: Leaving a battle early should also reduce a players faction rep by 20, causing the clan to react to their misconduct aswell.

I would appreciate if people would post their support if they like the idea so i can add your name to the list, hopefully that will help accelerate the process a little.

Actually the missing turns one if put into the game will destroy some tactics and planning if put into the game since some people (myself included) will skip turns so we don't trigger reroute, waiting to use a strong rage move that is on cooldown ETC, and you will be punishing people for playing smart.

I agree with Mother1 and people could miss turns also due to lag.
A person would leave battle if his Internet disconnects also sometimes due to the bug when you are accidently kicked from a battle
These ideas can punish the person but would never be implemented.

You should just quit. They will never fix this problem ^^

i doubt they would do all of this
an easier solution would be Combat Ratings

it gives you a rating based on the gear you have, and the 2 vs 2 match making system can take combat ratings into account when matching people up. this leads to players being matched with other players of similar combat ratings.

not having a gun/aux/armor would drop your combat ratings, therefor making it less likely that someone with no gear gets put into a match where everyone else is fully geared.

about missing turns, i think in all modes, if someone misses a turn, it should automatically strike the enemy. so that turns are never missed in any mode.

@ goldslayer

I could only agree with that if there is a skip button for those who want to skip purposely. You might as well be adding another form of azreal's will to the game if this is done without the skip button since you would be forced to strike when you choose to skip on purpose to either avoid giving back energy due to reroute, waiting to use rage with a weapon with a one turn cool down left etc.

Not to mention this would make botting even easier for some as well since bots only strike anyways.

@mother1
yeah a skip button would be more useful than having to wait 15 seconds for those types of situations.

Please tell me the lovely important of win-records aside from bragging rights and/or telling others you're terribly obsessed with winning.

This has been suggested before, no.

You intend to penalized both people who are terrible players and people who have a slow internet connection. The latter being completely unintentional.

By comparison, it's like punishing someone for an accident.

Another...

Meaning that clans should also help reprimand these players-

What's wrong?

Due to the lack of proper communication for orthodox clans (That is, without the need for a third party program like a fan website dedicated to the clan- Using only the in-game clan feature) the most common punishment is simply booting the player out if he/she is an established "Quitter". This not only leads to being penalized through rewards, but also by being rejected by a clan and possibly future clans.

This leads to some form of racism where only those with good connection could properly enjoy the game. You may see it as "Right", but not "Equal".

Wow everyone but the original poster has good suggestions.

The pairing up with stats would be great cuzz like now that I'm at lvl 16 (I played a million years ago and just started again so I'm kinda low on lvl) all other players seem to have varium so I can't match their fighting power at all and keep losing. Another thing is that these lvl 20 people keep coming partnerd with a lvl 16 and ofcourse the side that has the lvl 20 always wins(and I seem to be on the losing side more often). Oh and other people then "people with bad connection" lose their connection. I do sometimes but not very often, it's completely normal. And isn't losing your connection and losing the battle automaticly like that allready a big enough punishment for it?

i support the topic except some part of this one

If their partner has already left early, players should be given an option to leave the battle with no loss appearing on their record. If a partner leaves before the battle begins, it should automatically end with no winners or losers.

yes option to leave will be given except that it will still count as a win to the opposing side but not a loss to you since its pretty obvious your going to loose against two lvl 35's unless your build counters them wholly...
reason why i didn't support some part is because it eats time some thing like this:
player: finally i got to play 2v2 because juggs are everywhere
*then opposing side quits and game game ends up having no win or loss*
and yeah 2v2 is a dangerous place...
i have alot of people to avoid in there especially on the lower levels >.>
and i don't have to mention them since ill be reporting them from now on :)

It's on you to go 2vs2 at your own risk.

I have like 55% ratio in 2vs2 because of weak partner(low level), AFK partners and no partners.
