Me again, sorry if I'm causing spam. I've read that we're able to make fully customized skins for only ourselves to see. I find that cool, but I'm rather.. Bad at CSS coding, so I'd appreciate it if someone explained it to me. Also, here's two questions that mainly concern me:

● What have I got to download to open up the CSS? (I'm using Chrome)
● Once I'm done editing, how do I save the CSS so it'll always appear as I edited it in the future?

I'm not sure if this question is breaking any rules, so if it is.. Feel free to delete it.

Click Profile near the login button then scroll down and you will see Forum Color Style option. Choose which one you want. Is this what you are asking?

No, I'm aware of the original skin colors, but I've read that using the CSS coding, we're able to choose our own.

You can download it from the FAQ
quote:

ORIGINAL: Captain Rhubarb

Our forum doesn't actually use any fancy code for the color skins.
It just uses these stylesheets:

http://forums2.battleon.com/f/blue.css
http://forums2.battleon.com/f/dark.css

You're all welcome to download these files, and experiment.
There's usually a browser setting where you can override style settings using a local CSS file to test with the live forum web site.

Let me know via PM if you come up with anything.
It was tricky to make sure that the buttons looked good though with different background colors.

No idea how to apply it though.

Stylish, a browser addon lets you customize websites with your own and downloaded css. You'll have to read the help and faq to see how to make a style for a website though. Addon for Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stylish/fjnbnpbmkenffdnngjfgmeleoegfcffe
Firefox ver: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/stylish/?src=external-userstyleshome

Already made styles and help: http://userstyles.org/

@Musicaholic: Learning CSS is something you'd have to do outside the forums. w3schools has a CSS tutorial that you might find useful. If you have a complete forum CSS you'd like to use, you can turn it in to any Administrator located on this list. If it gets approved for use, it'll be added as a style and you'll be notified.
