hello i we all know what ranks are (Hero,Warlord,Commander,Emperor, etc) but why are they for? they are just for show. they should have some meaning, on every higher rank u get 2 stat points or like daily credits or something because this ranks are only for show atm and they should have purpose and if they dont have any purpose why are they ingame at all ?

all i am saying that to give this ranks some purpose i suggest 2 thinks :

give people daily credits or more stats from them from the ranks like :

Champion : 100 credits | 2 stats
Hero : 200 credits | 3 stats
Warlord : 400 credits | 4 stats
Commander : 1 000 credits | 5 stats
Emperor : 1 500 credits | 6 stats
Grand Emperor : 2 000 credits | 7 stats
Legend : 3 000 credits | 9 stats
Epic Legend : 5 000 credits | 10 stats
Eternal Legend : 7 000 credits | 12 stats

On the part of earning a small amount of credits for achieving the new rank supported since I can see no harm in doing so. However adding extra stats for ranks not supported. This can throw the game out of balance big time and make it even harder for lower levels to beat higher level players. It would cause imbalance in the game which is something we don't need since we have enough of it already.

I agree on daily credits but just because someone achieved high rank in the past doesn't mean he should have more stats. So in short, daily creds YES extra stats NO. Besides, the new legendary mode lvl 40 thing will give us extra stats

No harm in the credits thing, so supported. However, since it's daily, you should probably make it really a lot less. I'm a commander, almost an emperor, and I'm always in desperate need of credits. 7k per week is waaaay too much for a commander. Maybe make it 1/3-1/4 your posted values for each thing?

Commander gets 1k per day according to the charts.

I'm not quite sure what I think of this. It seems like a bit too much considering the people that buy the $50.00 promos are mostly commanders and above. This would mean that after about 3 or 4 weeks they can get a new weapon.

365k a year can get you about 15 weapons assuming the average one costs 20k credits.



Also, Eternal Legend is 1 mill wins. When you've done that much theres no need in playing for credits. You would have accumulated over 32 million, and nobody spends that much credits. It took me weeks to spend my 1.7 million credits when I got it.


The credits thing is too much for me to support it. It would cause inflation and we don't need that.

As or stats I think it might be a good idea but I can't be sure since I'm not very good at balance and I don't want to give an opinion that is absolutely wrong about the whole thing.

Sorry, I sensed some sarcasm in your first post, but really I shouldn't have retaliated back with my own sarcasm. Might not even have been sarcasm at all, considering communicating over the internet can be very confusing and there are quite a lot of misinterpretations.

Anyways, upon closer inspection, this may not be a good idea as it could inflate prices and just make winning fights less useful and the daily reward more useful.

well on the other hand, if you want more free credits per week(or day) you have to get a higher rank, and i suppose the number of credits SHOULD(again, not yelling just pointing it should be your suggestion) be 1/3 of the current numbers(and sorry if I confused you ^^)

Free daily credits never will happen because it does counter varium and would
mean less money for AE. I once suggested free daily credits for houses but
it got ignored of course. This is ED and not AQ where you basically can pay
one time for the Guardian status so that a daily credit income does not matter
much.

The best thing would be to add a tiered achievement to the rank system as
the Rating Point system represents active play time.

Another possibility is that higher character ranks could reduce retrain/rebuild cost
for the character, weapons and armors.

Someone who doesn't play EpicDuel anymore can come online one day and have the latest gear for free. Giving Credits for free, daily, has been suggested in the past many times. I am an Emperor so I'll be making 10,500 Credits a week. In just over a month of not playing, I can actually change my Class. You're no longer having to work hard to make Credits to change Class, this means that people can change Classes when they want because they have the money. Changing Classes strains the Server, same with changing your name and probably Retraining.

This has never been approved to my understanding.

u are right but if the mods make it so that it doesnt automatically give everyday u must go in ur acc and get it ur self, or make it that u must win some amount of battles to get this credits

If it was given to you upon getting to each rank only once I could support that, however giving you those credits everyday as long as you log on and win a few battles I don't support. This would make varium worthless to higher ranked players, and would cause inflation for all including players at lower ranks.

In other words one time reward for getting to that rank supported, everyday thing you can get for just getting a few wins each day not supported.

It still has problems because you're changing who you are. If there are a lot of players changing Classes at the same time, there might be lag. The database also needs to refresh itself because your identity is being changed, along with many other players'. Something might seem minor, and I too think that changing Classes is minor, but as soon as it's kind of free, people will change their Class when there's a build getting fast wins + high win ratio.

Look at the current state of EpicDuel; Bounty Hunters are very common - if this suggestion existed since the past, players who have saved their Credits for this moment will change their Class. Now, I know that some players will not have the Credits to change because they buy other items, but that behaves like Mother1 posted: Varium will be devalued as a shortcut. The shortcut then will be to not play EpicDuel until you have x amount of Credits.
