Plasma Bolt could dish out a lot of damage and it was very useful because of the low Energy cost. It's been like this for a long time and a friend told me that Plasma Bolt is the best Skill because of the damage output... that was 4 years ago in school. The thing is, the Class works very good together with its Skill. With Battery Backup granting you Energy, it seems to be fair to just increase the cost by a little bit - 20 Energy - and with Assimilation being able to give you more Energy, the cost should increase.
Let me tell you one thing about TM, them, along with BH, have Skills which work together like an orchestra. In my opinion, TM is better than BH because TM can gain Energy and make the opponent take the Energy away and then counter with Assimilation. Don't just talk about tank casters when you talk about TMs, there are other builds which are equally strong and possibly stronger! Look at the leaderboards, someone managed to get over 300 wins with a win ratio above 90% over the last few days. I've met him, talked to him on Facebook too, and he was happy with his build. Now it's getting copied and he feels sad that this is happening.
