Im lv 22 on an alt and I get lv 26 players just completely feeding on me with extra stats on them,what makes things worst is they get the first turn,I don't see any balance on this as they have a larger advantage to win in a battle.

I'm kinda complaining,but tell me what you guys think about it

Have you paid the game before underdog mode was put into play? If so you will know that the problem with this was a lot and I mean a lot worse than it is now.

Underdog was designed to fix the very problem you are complaining about which you should be getting every time you face a higher level player (unless you are both level 40 ranked players with an extremely small rank difference.)

Now for the golden question I have seen so much before "Why not just remove all level gaps and make people fight their own levels only" I will answer that one.

A change like this will destroy wait times and while some may say "So what? you are waiting for a fair fight so it is worth it." The problem here is the player base is extremely small and during sometimes of the day it get's as low as 100-200 players depending on the time zones. A change like this will almost grantee that people who are in those time zones that play during this time normally or players who play in this period of time will almost never get battles at the worst or have to wait extremely long for one at best.

The player base is going down, the game keeps losing players which will eventually mean:
1- Closing the game since it is a PVP based game, the main feature is PVP battling, once there aren't enough players to get this feature working the game is done.
2- Turning ED into an AQW-like game, it doesn't really count on PVP battles as much as farming/NPCs.
3- Counter-measures, as they say, desperate times call for desperate measures, first one is enlarging the level difference between two opponents, such thing isn't possible, even if the underdog mode covers this (Underdog mode covers levels/ranks differences from 1/10 to 10/100 or in other words 10 eLevels), it is impossible since now underdog mode fails to make the battles fair at low levels, which is your case enlarging the level difference only makes it worse. Ofcourse there is another counter-measures like disbaling 2vs2 battle mode and juggernaut, since both of them already take years to start, focusing on 1vs1 battle mode is better...

I still consider ranking system a problem, it only made things harder to balance, in your case, as a low level, underdog mode deserves a buff, but on high ranks it doesn't, the engine can't buff the UM on low levels and keeps it the same at high ranks, this falls under the engine limitations. The only thing here that we could change is the ranking system.

I find it too late to work with the 3rd solution, what can I say, just try to enjoy the game until it ends. As for those who still believe that the devs will resume their work on ED after they finish with Biobeasts, they won't.

Agreed. The biggest problem is that the mobile platform is rapidly increasing, as it already has, and the devs are leaving games like this. I guess its not entirely their fault, games like ED require a lot more work then mobile games.

Evidence that ED's end is coming to an end can be seen in the recent updates. The updates have become repetitive; 5-10 missions (In which most of them you run around and collect trash to keep ED clean), new NPC/ boss (which are often so ridiculously head to beat that the mass of ED players don't even bother with them), new weapons ( which at first seems cool but then you realize that there is no core and if you played this game since omega, you understand that a ugly looking physical/energy weapon is the same as a nice looking physical/energy weapon. Basically, the design doesn't matter, the core does. Therefore, no core=useless, don't waste your money).

Most players farm NPC 100 wins and then log off. Forget PVP, this game might as well be a replica of AQW-like game. Daily missions were put into place to counter this problem, (have players play some pvp) but everyone knows that a token might as well be worth 20 credits. At most, players log on Friday to see balance updates (in which most cases there aren't, and if there are, they made it even more unbalanced) and sometimes play on the weekend if it is power hour (like once a month). Other then that, usually the servers are with 100-300 people, 90% of them being new players, lvl's 1-30, who still are trying to find some type of meaning or joy in this game, and when they reach lvl 40, they will understand there really isn't.

The only hope left is the 10th anniversary of this game, which I believe is next year, 2016 (correct me if I'm wrong). After that, the servers will be filled with one number, 0. (Then again there's always titan)

P.S. I understand my post doesn't directly tie in with the topic but I was simply adding on to Machaar and Mother's idea of player count going down. Say amen/ameen if you agree with my post though.

If you want to work on solutions for the level difference, you are free to do so. However, pure complaints help nobody and only clutter the rest of the forum.
