Base Stat Class Concept I think it would be beneficial to add into the game mechanics a base stat for each class as follows. Tech Mage/Blood Mage- Technology Mercenary/Tactical Mercenary- Strength Bounty Hunter/Cyber Hunter- Dexterity My reasons for this are as follows Thesis A First and foremost, I think it would add to the complexity of builds. Yes, your overload would still involve support for a Tech Mage, but if you increase you technology, you will gain an overall bonus in general. Yes, it would be much smaller, but would have a more spread out effect. Thesis B Second of all, it would seem more legitimate. If a mercenary spent hours working improving his strength he would hit harder in general, right? If a Tech Mage were to spend hours becoming more aware of how machines work, and increaing his ability to absorb and transfer energy, he would be able to throw a stronger plasma bolt, yes?
