I'd like to say that these are the first thoughts on the game that I had and that I understand that its in pre-beta still. Some criticisms from my own confusion mixed in with a lot of rambling. No real order, I type as I think- so sorry for the jumbled feel of my post. So, I'm new to aq3d and coming to this game expecting it to play similar to aqw has left me a bit confused. From what I'm seeing it seems as though weapons have their own individual stats and aren't cosmetic, as they are in aqw? Also, whats with the crafting taking real time? I mean it just feels odd and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Do note that I have no idea how much this feature actually effects gameplay, I've only played for maybe 20ish minutes, but my brain instantly sees a timer and thinks of cheap marketing tricks used on many mobile titles. (The only game i can think of where such a thing isn't awful is warframe.) And, I understand that the game was made with cross-compatibility in mind. But, please please please tell me that npc textures are not final. Even on high settings on both pc and on mobile(tried on galaxy s5 and an nvidia shield) the npc textures make me cringe. The moment you zoom in to a character model when speaking to them you're met with a blurry mess. When the camera is in its normal position the game looks fine, as soon as you zoom in.. I'm sorry but I have to complain about it. (A character's jewel on her necklace is literally bending into her neck. I can't express in words how much that bothers me...way more than it should.) Also, will aq3d have a subscription or does AE plan to make money from cosmetics?(probably a mix of both?)
