Surgical Strikes scales to +1 Dmg at .4 Tech and Supercharge at .3 Tech as of this update. At Player Lv 40 Level 1 Surgical has a base of 749 and Super has a base of 596. All weapons now have same stats as Swords, that makes 110 the assumed stat for balanced Dex and Tech at Focus 5. Along with 60 Defense/Resistance distribution from Armor, 399 is the average of Def/Res ranges, Armor% Ignores are based on this value. Surgical's Rage reduction averages .5(100%+0%)/2 = 25% Rage since full Rage is 50% Defense/Resistance Ignore, it equates to 12.5% damage reduction. 1.3(749 + 110/.4 - 399) + 399*.125 = 862.375/310 Energy = 2.7819 Dmg per 1 Energy Supercharge 1.3(596 + 110/.3 + 399*.35 - 399) = 914.317/290 Energy = 3.1523 Dmg per 1 Energy 862.375*290/(310*914.317) = .8823 Surgical/Supercharge I think the 5% increased Ignore and -20 Energy cost reduction made Supercharge too powerful as players are posting screenshots with Supercharge's incredible damage, the increased +1 Dmg per .3 Tech scaling at 30% Ignore is enough of a compensation for using a Staff that is 10 less damage than a Sword. 1.3(596 + 110/.3 + 399*.3 - 399) = 888.377/310 Energy = 2.8657 Dmg per 1 Energy 888.377 - 862.375 = 26.0017 Dmg difference between Supercharge and Surgical, which covers 2.6 turns of attacking with a Staff. A modest assumption that Focus 5 will attack with Gun, Robot, Aux, Gun, Primary/Skill, Robot, Gun, Aux, Primary/Skill and repeats Gun, Robot, Aux, Gun, Primary/Skill totaling 3 turns of Primary in a 14 turn battle.
