Ok, so the new Essence of Carnage spell looks really interesting to me and I was wondering if anyone has come up an interesting strategy for it? The only one I could think of was for hybrids. They could use the backlash form as a weaker version of dun for their physical attacks and the mp form to regain mp and boost spell damage. Is this viable and are there any other uses people have thought of?

The backlash effect on it has no specific applications that are particularly strong, the the melee/ranged boost is nice and it's a generally a good guest to have. The spell mode has the potential to let you one shot anything in the game as long asyou have enough stacks and are able to hit.
