I recently upgraded my dragonlord armor from colour custom dragonlord to evolved dragonlord. I don't see a difference in abilities nor style between them. I've been away from the game, periodically catching up on it, so I guess I'm missing something. Where exactly is the "evolved" dynamic in this upgrade I spent 20K gold on?

 There aren't any differences in skills with CC, Evolved or CC Evolved DragonLord. Those change with DragonLord Artifacts you can buy from Journal.

But in Falconreach Portal, you can find Armor Customization where you can now customize how your DragonLord looks, including color custom option and evolved.
