Raising armies, undead or golem, is fun and all until you need to find the resources to summon them (e.g. a graveyard or an ancient battlefield) if Zorbak's dialogues during Calamity and how Vayle reanimated Edgar are concerned. Nonetheless, necromantic hexes should be mean stuff to keep your foes preoccupied. Cryptics, I would say, can be a definite threat. Nothing would scare bladebrains and mages alike than something that addles with their heads. Chronomancy could hold a high spot if we only see one in action. Then again, time is a powerful natural force to wield, so it won't be surprising if they are that reserved. If they do pop up... at the most basic level, wanna be in the front row seat of how Dio Brando and Dimaria Yesta messed with their adversaries? Spirit weaving would be quite a contender when souls are concerned. Want an afterlife? Better make sure you're not on the bad side of someone swift, wearing one of the most durable materials in known Lore, and can shred souls into oblivion.
