spoiler:
Ah and so the Fungal Tytan has been silenced. Though if I'm being honest even though its effectively dormant now I do worry of Dragesvard still being on top of it and I'm concerned it could eventually be more of a waiting time bomb should something occurs that's powerful enough to wake it back up while civilians are still on it. Then again I do imagine Genokratos' presence is enough to keep it from waking even if some other external power source theoretically comes into play....least there will be time to study the fungus for quite awhile. And on the note of Genokratos, it's a good thing they only ended up being taken out of commission via forced to sleep instead of dying(plus I imagine they have a winning streak over most of the other Great Dragons for not having to reborn as much if at all) though it is a shame they did so before we could ask them any more questions. Hopefully, it won't be centuries before they end up waking up again to have a discussion. It's also good that we've gotten to see Vilmor and Cryozen back into the field even if it was the conflict here has come to an end. I presume by her mentioning that there's still a lot to clean up that she may be returning to Dragonsgrasp soon, preferably with the Dragonlords having cleaned up their attitudes towards her, though I suppose she could have just meant they needed to get rid of the fungus that's been left behind. Still hoping we get to chat before we bounce the area. quote:
And it looks like Dragonsgrasp and Dragesvard are neighbours now! Can't help but feel like that could end up being an issue. Even though Lestrad has been making an effort to Kord to accept cooperation between the two groups I can't help but feel Kord's insistence on what it means to be a Dragonslayer may present future problems and with an entire stronghold of dragons right next door...well I'm not suggesting Kord may be prone to provoking war or just outright antagonism towards Dragonsgrasp but I fear relationships could potentially be strained when the united threat of the Rifts are no more completely and the Rose isn't in the way. And then there's Jaania's continued meddling and I got to say if Jaania somehow manages to do more harm than good in whatever she plans on doing to Brittany I imagine Victoria is going to have a few arrows made specifically just for her. With luck this ends with Brittany healed, but I'm imagining the worst case scenario is her soul somehow either getting damaged, fragmented, or just straight up yeeted from her body on accident. I'm also curious about that glare that Akanthus' gave Jaania. It's possible it was just one of annoyance that she was messing about and wasting time he could have already been set to travel to Mana Core already but I can't help but wonder if on some level he's genuinely furious that she created Hesperrhodos at all. Seems unlikely that he would be morally outraged over that given that it's well...Akanthus but it does make me wonder if reminds him too much of how the Magestirium turns people into walking husks. Again, highly unlikely that was the reason for the glare, but if that was the reason it would be interesting to know that he draws lines somewhere. Ah but the Deadlands Rift awaits us.
