how do i unlock roleplaying? or where do i go

In order to gain access to the Role Playing forum, you must spend some time in the Role Playing Academy first. Once you've gotten comfortable with using the Role Playing Academy and feel like you're ready to move up to the main RP forum, post in the RP Forum Application Thread.
