 i was just using Celtic cleaver with +7% connected and was facing a str bh with 74 dexterity and lvl 6 shadow arts im using a str build -_- he blocked me 5 times in a row could anyone tell me how is that not oped ?

its not then the person has a weak spot just do unbloakable atackes

high dex + high SA means lots of blocks. what do you expect? otherwise its pure luck. once my assimilate got blocked every battle for 24 battles running. just luck

Although the difference between your dexterity and his dexterity effects the block chance as well.

You was unlucky Shadow Art is not OPED its only luck , i dont do block %90 of the time (i got 74 dex and 6 SA)

I would love to have connect chance instead of blocking because its not working much :/

In one battle i did Reflex boost (my dex become 108) and i got %6 Shadow art , i smoked my oponent str merc he got like 30 dex = I didnt do a single block and he won so its pure luck.

 i know that dex affects it -_-
but i have 7 connect + 6 block = 1 connect how the hell does he still get block while i have upper dex then him and +1 connect ?

Look, Shadow Arts is NOT OPed, it is simply to play to the strengths of a bh. It is only 10% block chance, and that is hardly any, since you should know by now to get around it. Unless you are a str merc, then you totally deserve it.

 ^ -_- so im a str merc i deserve it as str merces have a range of 70-85% but the str bh dont desrve to die with a 85-96% -_-

^I never said that you were a str merc, I simply stated that if you were one, you deserved it.
With a str merc, if their maul procs, the opponent has no way to fight back and thus they do not get a say in the outcome of the mtch. That is OPed. Against a str bh, you are given enough time to put up your defenses AND you should have a few unblockables that can deal damage.

So, could I see your setup? your char page link doesn't work :/
But like I said, you really shouldn't be relying on a primary weapon.

@below,
By set up I meant your equipment, not build. You already said you were a str merc.

 What makes shadow arts difficult cause it is a 100% passive skill which is easily able to create a build around. Bloodlust is an offensive passive and Shadow arts a defensive passive.

Is it defeat-able, possibly, but detailed planning must implemented to succeed.

Thats why i rely on guns, bounts havent been a huge problem for me ever, its the dang mages -_-

i admit SA has been a tad annoying ecspecially since it seems like they never nerf bounts but keep boostin them, but hey, just cuz it beats your build doesnt mean it beats all builds, no build is perfect, you cant win them all ;)

i didnt say mages always beat me, they just make my current build less fun since i rely on my tech but yea with my current build i would have a hard time with someone like you

1. SA is NOT OPed its just a 10% chance at level 10 therefore ten stat points to get a 10% chance to block and to stun is no way OPed I wish people would stop saying that and realize the problem is their dex and themselves not SA. Its annyoing.

2.You just said your a STR Merc. Therefore NO DUH! You guys barely have any dex at all. So for him to have a lot more dex then you and a extra 6% chance stop complaining. The 7% connect doesnt mean anything if they have 80 more dex then you. So honestly stop it already. It gets old.

Now you contradicted yourself. A STR Merc doesnt have over 74 dex they barely have 40 dex therefore stop saying that. He had a lot more dex then you and 6% extra block chance and dont forget the connect chance only works on normal strikes. And if you did have more dex then him you arent a STR Merc.

 Shadow arts is overpowered in one aspect. With the new skills, it is the only skill that one can make builds around. There are variations of 5 focus, Strength, Support and combinations of these three that can heavily rely on Shadow Arts.

The other two classes do not have such diversity in build making with their new skills.

 wow a str bh with 74 dex i had about 86 -_- u sure havent seen someone with cyber shilleilagh ( i ddnt spell it right ) and skull fire blaster and founder armor with bunny zooka :O
