Ok so basically. We changed, because the devs freaking nerfed everything, variumized the game, gave super high enhancements that was made completely worthless by the new diminishing stat progressions. Ok, so we changed. What I think is another reason is: The new players that come into this game are all 8-12 year olds (estimating). In alpha(maybe) and definitely beta, ED has a more mature community base and were more closely knit together. Legends were easily recognized by their wins, and it was the "glory days". Cut to the present. Discontent. More pressure. Maybe it's because we want more. It's like a child growing. You just need to consume more. You need more food, you need more games to interest you. How can the devs satiate these desires? Class balance? There are many values, many factors that are really hard to control (if I imagine myself in the dev's role). So basically, I'm saying. Immaturity. Even maybe the greediness of the more veteran players. And yes there are "solutions" to this, but don't ask me to delve into this topic.
