Who doesn't miss the good ole'days of beta and alpha(I wasn't there in alpha)
Discuss about what you liked back then..
Was the game balanced?
Was it fun making builds?


No flaming or trolling and no talkin about gamma or delta

What I miss in beta is that everyone(including me) have scatter builds and no flaming. Also on how they call me and other mercs fat just for fun. Btw I have a merc but I'm not using it instead I use my bh.

I miss the days when their was no such thing as a tactical merc.

now 9/10 battles are agianst super Oped tactical mercs and the devs are taking too long for the obviolosy super needed decent balance adjustments!!

I miss:
-Old community,old friends.Much nicer,much more fun...
-Old oz,no fame begging,no random players screaming ''HELP ME I GOT HACKED''...Just fun chats,great hang out place
-No limits on build making.It was balanced exactly because it was so random.There was no one OP class,every class had one OP build.
-Updates were more frequent and on time
-Varium lasted much longer
-Old forum of course

Even though heal looping is present, at least it isn't very overpowered. It can still be countered :P

Meeeeeh miss the old Epicduel ( No agility\ No Focus \ no requirements for skillz\ etc... :S Mehhhh boreddddddddddddddddddddddd with ED i've been playing ED about 3 years and few months and now i'm start to get bored with those things and bugs and lag .


Meeeeeeeeeeh Sad =((( i want EDF back it's more funny and better then this Forums. Too much rules and things .

Loop heal wasn't oped... I could counter it with a DEX build!
What I liked was it was ballanced, fun, and not as expensive.

Heal looping and having fun trying different builds because back then the build creativity was the best..but now agility and focus came messed up everything and we all stuck in strength builds or focus now

I missed being able to get lots of wins in a day (now to many tac mercs) now i only get like 50 max

Also missed that it was easier to get on 1v1 daily leaderboard now it takes about 600 wins to be champ

 I miss EDF too the only flamming there was latin. I agree with VIX there weren't no agility, requirements,same old builts. It was fun being non varium.

I miss most of the things from 'The Old Days' too.
But they are gone.
So live in the present and look forward to the future or you may miss something. :)

 Unfortunately, with every online community, there are shake-ups. Having been a part of EpicDuel since day 1, I can honestly say that there was never a "Golden Age" where everything was wonderful, no class was OP, and the community was free from the same problems we have now.

I said nothing about a golden age of ED. What I meant with this topic was to cherish the old days when there was no sign of agility or stat req or fame etc.
I appreciate all the work you Titan and night wraith have put in Epic duel.

i have to agree with cindy.
i mean not everything seemed all balanced like everyone claimed.
but lets put it this way.
back then founders ruled, unbalancements for non founders.
heal loopers had high % altho slow at fights. so if u were fighting a heal looper and u weren't a heal loop urself u would most likely be in a long fight only to loose in the end. therefor it made it a waste of time if u weren't a heal looper.
