Unfortunately, balance can't be achieved. There will ALWAYS be someone, or a group of people, who can come up with a powerful new build to destroy the competition with. How often were the hunters nerfed, but remain the top class (please don't argue with that, they are, and we all know it)? Because some things can't be done. You can't for example, put a defense debuff and expect people to not abuse their strength, or make support so useful and expect no one to abuse it. Balance is an idea. Sadly, this idea, this goal, can't be obtained. The best we can do is evolve, to develop to meet the requirements of one's society. "Evolve or die." After much thought, and going back and forth, I've concluded that, although it's a cheesy line, it defines ED now more than ever. You have to evolve to be able to compete. You can't win them all, but you can do your best. Humans, for example, evolved to be the dominant species on this planet, and it wasn't achieved by people setting rules. They weren't the biggest, or the fastest, or the strongest. They were smarter. They adapted to their surroundings, and spread like wild fire. You have to accept change, and adapt to it. If strength tacticals are ticking you off, well I hear dexterity mages are pretty powerful. Support merc? Try a strength build, it kills them off pretty easily. You can't have a 100% win record. You can try your best, but nothing is perfect. For the last time, evolve or die. @below Not true. There are players who don't enhance their gear and could pummel me in a duel (Me being a full varium 33, them being non varium). You have to know your skills. Don't be scared to try new things. Enhancements are an advantage, not a necessity. @psibertus If that was directed at me, I want you to know I'm a cyber hunter. OPed or not, I wouldn't switch to Tactical.
