Talking about plasma and stun grenade. They are both worthless for damage. They should get a nice buff to at least b in par with overload.

Agreed.
Grenades are useless as they are now. Perhaps they should increase chance to stun to about 50% but reduce their damage or make it fixed, in order to give them a more tactical use, but prevent people from abusing their damage output.

I disagree. The purpose of the grenades are to give tank builds another method of dealing damage (I think) so simply don't use them if you do not have very high dex/tech.. I myself use stun grenade and it is quite effective. 50% stun is too much, even with a fixed damage imo

Don't support. Why should it be on par with mages overload? Mages energy draining skill aren't on par with bounties emp.

agree with tgod.

I would like to see the tactical mercenary's stun grenade skill replaced with something else. this however is biased as i am a tactical mercenary. but come on; the tactical merc isnt even close to being as powerfull as the bm or ch. we have the short end of the stick right now.

Tgod: They are par, Assimilate IS A Very Good Skill, It Takes Out energy from the enemy, It Gives energy to you, and it DEALS DMG. And it doenst cost energy.

I went to retrain and spammed all my tech (on my CH) (to about 180+)
The max didn't even go to 80 damage.

^And do damage. If it did not damage, what is the point of a stun? You stunned the opponent making them miss a turn but you used up your own turn stunning them.

It's still a free hit XD When I made my post, I was implying that some damage is appropriate, but not a whole lot of damage (like Bunker Buster, Bolt, Fireball), since the stun is already giving you an additional turn (plus a little extra damage on top of it).

I do support the idea of the stun grenades to being buffed a bit damage-wise. However, we should not forget that these two skills are in fact best used strategically. While you may think that it is not worth wasting your turn to deal little damage, even while gaining an extra turn, many times stuns can and should be used to plan ahead. For example, say you are waiting for rage next turn, or your heal is still in cooldown. Stunning in that situation can be a pretty darn helpful move. :P

12 energy points when max. And gives 6 energy points when its max but it also has a chance to get blocked. And the hunters emp takes atleast 20(tanks 25-30+) at level one and costs only 10ep and its way more reliable.

No Matter what you say, assimilate is a very Good skill and can ruin buillds alot, probably isnt par with EMP but is a very good and useful skill.
I Had a build with lvl 9 assimilate with a Supp TM and I pwned the Oped SUPP Tac Mercs, just for this skill. and with emp was harder to win.

Stun grenade doesn't need to be on par with overload. Bounties stun grenade is fine, all they got to do is reflex, smoke, stun grenade. Cybers don't need a buff it will just make their strength and tank builds even more op.

Yes, the damage should he buffed. Only a bit though, maybe 5. Thats just my opinion.

Oh yeah another thing. It's a complete waste of skill points to max it out. In its last levels, it's like 2 more mp and one more skill point for one more damage.

^But, that's like saying maxing out bolt, multi-shot, etc. isn't worth it either because the damage barely increases. You have to remember that there's a cool-down period, so it's actually better to put more damage into it, if you're relying on a stun build.

But u have to remember that multi can hit two targets. Almost every other damaged based skill has better progressions.

I said etc. Every skill has relatively minor damage progressions as the skill improves. The point of putting that many stat points is because of the cool down period. You will want to deal as much damage as possible in a short period of time.

Yeah the left three caster skills on the mage skill tree all have two cooldowns of 2 but significantly more damge.

1st I think they should buff to base 35% chance to stun
2nd If u dont get stun, the other player will feel dizzy so they have more chance of getting block by u or ur ally. Before is base 8% to block. If hit with a stun: 28% base chance to get block.
Deflection will increase to 20% base chance
If u got no def and block on that turn, u get to do 20% less damage.





It only last 1 turn
