have you ever looked at what tech mages have for passive skills they reroute, assimilation, and deadly aim. do see any passive skills for protection or health. oh yea a tech mage has super charge give health back but cost lots of manna does help some. yes and assimilation does steal manna and you get some of the other players if a hit a %

1. the merc has has a passive skill called( hybrid) that give nice def and resit and it is passive skill. they have rage also a passive skill. the tech mage has to spend manna for def matix and technician.

2. the bh has a passive skill called( shadow arts that gives a % chance to block. cost no manna to use, passive skill.) the tech mage has to spend manna for def matix and technician. and have blood lust that gives them health back a % back of damage to their health from a attack, a tech mage has to use field medic. yes a tech mage has reroute to take some of the damage to manna .

3. passive skill for a ch well lets see they have shadow arts no cost chance to block by%, passive. plasma armor passive no cost, static charge passive no cost. while the tech mage has to use manna for def matix and technician.

4. tlm has passive skill that nice called mineral armor very nice for def, cost none . then we got blood shield passive nice it cost health pts, but you give to get alot for it. again the tech mages cost manna for def matix and technician.

5 the bm has blood lust damage given out they some of % back to health. passive skill

would it not be nice if a tech mage could have a passive skill like hybrid armor or even shadow arts. so do think tech mages could use a skill like the 2 said here hybrid or shadow arts.

always the syfy

Oh wait, TMs can heal loop. If I can heal loop as a BH, you should be able to do it with ease.

For TMs, EP cost does not matter in the slightest, you are either suppose to outlast your opponent with healing or dish out massive damage and not have to ever worry about EP cost.

So what if they dont have a defense passive,

Technically indirectly they do with heal looping and shielding without worrying about energy.

If you propose every class has similar style skills to fill all roles then the game would completely lack variety.

I would prefer to hear evidence to why you think TM's are needing help, Not theory that's suggests they do in your opinion.

In my opinion, TMs are one of the most balanced classes right now.

Ever hear of the saying a good offensive is a good defense and a good defense is a good offense?

Blood lust covers the good offense is a good defense and reroute covers a good defense is a good offense.

BH dosent. And if all classes had the same skills, what would the point in having multible classes be?

Also, TM does far from need a buff, more like a nerf on some skills *plasma bolt*

If you wanna give passive defensive skill to TMs and BMs then take out either debuff (Malf/Intimidate) or passive EP/HP regen from respective classes. You cannot have all three. And passive Armors really suit Mercenaries and CHs due to their nature.. Not Mages. :I

I am either in favour of knocking passive skills from the skill tree (levelled passives, cannot allot skill points to them), or simply abolishing passive skills as skills and replace them with active skills. You know how hard it is to gauge the gravity of a passive skill (gravity being importance)?!
