I was always bad at using merc strength, so I don't really have an opinion on that. Not taking a side, I will note that level 5 bunker buster with high tech is still a VERY effective way of damaging your opponent with a low energy cost of 23. Intimidate works well when combined with the azrael cores, as well as to stop those opponents from killing you with their next move if they need bludgeon, deadly aim gun, etc... Maul is also very neat, as it pretty much ensures an extra 6 damage for 12 energy, plus a bonus 22% stun chance. Atom smasher is a useful, low-energy costing skill which can really mess up builds when you tank. I think that level 1 double strike IS near useless though, and should probably get buffed, but have the highest level of damage reduced to something like 45% (Example: At level 1, 20% damage boost, and gives diminishing return. At the highest level, it gives a 45% damage boost). Tech never should have gotten nerfed, this OPs dex EVEN MORE than it already was with the absurd 35% max block chance, high block chance scaling, and the fact that you can stack shadow arts and ninja reflexes with it to reach a massive 49% block chance. Tech's resistance scaling should be brought back, as it also insanely powers up TM support and TM caster, as well as CH massacre builds. It should also be noted that BH has an absurdly high win rate compared to other classes, and probably needs fixing. I'm surprised everyone's ranting about merc support people on the 1v1 leaderboard with 70% win rates when there was a 90% win rate BH on there today.
