I think it's come to everyone's attention how broken the new Azrael auxiliary and sidearm are. Both effects are extremely powerful and in unison are beyond overpowered.
Adding to this thought, the fact that players now have their entire builds constructed around a sidearm and auxiliary is rather sad, to say the least. Omega is built to inspire new builds, not this... disgrace. It's shameful to even call them "builds".
Because of this I propose both these balance ideas:

The sidearm does no damage. I think this could work; there is no justified reason that a support mage or strength mercenary/blood mage should be able to deal massive damage AND essentially remove one of your turns. It's built as a tactical option to
extend your turn, or relent the progress of your opponent. It's appropriate if your enemy is about to use a devastating move and you need to heal, but not just to shorten the battle.

The auxiliary shouldn't nerf as much as it does, and there should be a damage reduction. It's absurd that my defense matrix vanishes and my opponent is dealing 35 damage with his auxiliary at the same time. It pretty much defeats the purpose
of the weapon. If anything, I'd much rather just have a more powerful aux.

On a side note, I was too lazy to see if this was an already trending subject. If so, please move this into that thread, that'd be great ^^

@Below I only object to the fact that the weapons are being used for something totally different than what they are supposed to be doing. Perhaps the damage is more balanced now, but the effects aren't.
@NBD Which is my biggest problem with these weapons. :/ Admittedly nerfing them further would upset some people.

The skills were already nerfed to 85% damage, and I think that was a needed measure but it was just the right amount. Against other focus builds, I often hit 10 or less, which is a small amount of damage. If you don't have a low-defenses build then the gun's special should serve minimal annoyance in terms of its damage and thus doesn't need to deal no damage at all given your suggestion. Many caster builds use it to turn stall, prevent heal, or gain rage, not to deal damage. Your defense matrix doesn't vanish, and it needed the nerf it got. 9 energy cost on the classes which can easily regenerate energy is amazingly cheap given the insane defense boost. Also, 65% isn't too much, and, given that my opponent is yet again a focus build instead of a low-defense build, it also rarely does more than 10 damage, as well as reduce the buff by only a little more than half. Overall, its only use is in 2v2 unless the opponent strength buffs or has a VERY strong defensive buff, as reducing 65% of a +20-ish defense/resistance buff only takes away around 10-12, and in exchange pretty much halves the damage I deal to the opponent. If you're complaining because it deals too much damage to you, then that's a con of low-defense builds because, as it stands right now, they're already pretty strong.

85% is sorta balanced. The only reason why I'd say not make it any worse is because people payed 50$ for it.

I personally think the gun should be removed from the game and everyone's money returned. It is vastly OP in effect since it give you the power to control your opponent. As for the aux itself the only thing I am disappointed about with it is that they had to recycle the azreal's borg special when when they made it, and worse to wear it is still does 15% more damage then the bot does when it uses it special.

As noobernaut fusion said, the yeti is a viable counter. Exploding chomp does only a small portion of damage less than the normal attack, plus it's unblockable as well. Also, you can malf your opponent or use deflection cores to raise the absurd deflection rate to be even higher.

All the forumites are people with over 10k wins >.> and then theres me.
I think these weapons were... unimaginative. Control of your opponent is stupid and the aux is just as mother1 said, recycled. Besides, its really not cool how you only get two turns of preparation now against ulti builds if they have the weapon...

You're late dude. They have already been nerfed. If you still constantly lose against them, you plainly suck at this game.

Although I have them, I still lose constantly to a variety of builds. On the other hand, I have a lv34 TLM alt which constantly wins against them.

By the way, you don't really expect winning against them by using just any stupid build, do you?
