It's arguable that omega cores are "better" than the ones anyone can get on primaries in the core shop. First of all, +1 damage on a yeti which is used around 2-3 times per fight isn't that good when 20 support builds are getting crits on me when I'm a tank with 60 support just cause of that cheap +4%. Also, an unblockable damage type is pretty neat when you can stack it with a gun, platinum's pride, etc... for lots of unblockable, strength-based options. Omega override is also bad against high HP builds with low overall base stats, and helps you in a minimal amount when fighting against these builds. Omega override is good for stacking on casters and support/strength builds, but otherwise it isn't that good.
