With all these SC threads popping up, ask yourself this.

Do you really think CH needs a buff?

It has:

Passive armor
Malf
EP regain
SA

I am not complaining, not flaming anyone and hopefully not breaking any rules.

Personally I think CH is fine as it is.

The reason static topics keep popping up I believe is with all the balance changes happening and the staff saying they check the forums for idea their hope is that they will finally buff static to make it a ITO (In their opinion) a realible source of energy regain since the got several nerfs due to abuse and complaints.

Yes, they do actually. Being a Cyber Hunter all this time, its hard to maintain anything good on it. The skills don't even synergize, it is purerly dependent on Plasma Armor, 5 focus doesn't even provide good durability. I gotta say, since the class was live this is the hardest time for it to be competitive.

If only Plasma Armor was swapped for Energy Shield and Static Charge was a passive skill...

IMO, SA doesn't even fit in the skill tree and static charge is close to useless right now. They need something other than strength and support abuse. Honestly, they need static replaced for a shield and static replaced. Another thought is that they lower the percentages for static charge and bring it back as a passive.

Swap Plasma Armour for Energy shield, Malfuncion for Conduction (one of Trans' ideas) and return Static Charge to its original state?

Pretty much with Static Charge is all the uniqueness on the class, making it passive both negates its own name and makes it unoriginal.

You know what is picky of Static Charge? Strength-progression. Because it is an effective 0-cost skill revolving around energy, it can be considered a necessity for any Cyber Hunter. Then the problem is being a Cyber Hunter without Sttrength.

With the current amount of Skill points, you can't invest enough pts to make the listed skills op.

My 2cents say that keeping Plasma Armour is a good good idea, replacing it with a shield that isn't passive strikes me as a build plower. Static charge can be passive, and that will help buff it up.

Then CH will be OP.

It's fine as it is, perhaps SA needs a rework(too powerful)

^Not exactly too powerful.
Shadow Arts is too unstable such as it can be useless at times and too powerful at other times.
I've made a couple suggestions such as a passive aux/bot boost.

I also think CH's do need a buff in static charge. Plus, you wouldn't have to be worried about CH's being OPed because they'd all end up investing in 3 moves with barely other skill points to put into other good moves.

Wasn't Static Charge originally a passive skill when CH was released?

^ Nah, the skill was static back then with 55% Energy regein ignoring all defenses.

I'm pretty sure it was 55% without ignoring defenses at first...then when it did ignore defenses, it was put down to 48%

I think that static should be put as a passive again with half the percentages as now. Also I think that SA should be replaced with a skill that increases the defection chance.

Static Charge was never a passive. And it was said before, if SC becomes a passive then drop PA (it won't be leaving) or Malf. Either would make the class weaker, whilst EP regen isn't necessary for CHs to survive; other classes do well without Energy.
