Heh, the thread is about how to engage players in pvp, it's not about balance or perceived implementation issues pertaining to the Omega release. @ Necromantres, I didn't even flesh out details, but you assumed it would be a 2v2 scenario. It could also be 1v1. The whole idea behind my suggestion was to add another layer to battle tokens, like the way it was when we had to farm for the tokens previously to challenge the achievement NPC's or to do the arcade! The idea is to make players do PvP to do other missions or tournaments. I see you have some good ideas to help engage players ;) @Noobatron, if anything the Omega update did close the level gap compared to Gamma and Delta stages where it was near impossible for lower level players to beat players 5 levels higher due to stat inflation. @Trizzy, I'm not even sure it's possible, but their would only be 2v2 or 1v1 battling at any time so I can't see how lag would be an issue other than the whole team would have to view the battle and this would require client packets to be sent as the battle progresses.
