i see alot of players complaining about pvp not being worth it anymore, i dont know if i can agree (probably not), but one thing is sure, alot of good players stopped playng frequently, and that is quite annoing, expecially during the week, where u can end up facing a lvl 35 evry 30 battles, rlly boring...
whatever if u guys have some ideas to involve players into pvp please post them.

Random events like a 16v16 knockout tournament that has achievements that stack or rank ;)

They would cost battle tokens to enter and the only way to get them is PvP :)

^ Absolutely not omega was supposed to promote equality well i say . NO to that because what they did was say here okay now everyone even . Okay fine so level is now more important then ever the higher the level you are the more powerful you are . So yeah at least 6/10 fights you will be facing someone 3 if your lucky 5 usually levels higher then you . Sort out stuff like this before you even dare to think of introducing new tournaments that will just reward the ones on the right side of the roll of the dice.

Omega was not finished before it got released, and it should have been delayed a full year and not announced until then if they wanted to make it as good as they were claiming.

And adding to that , the reason Omega isn't fully finished is because of people complaining it should be quick , w/o thinking it requires major work .


ON TOPIC :
Remove Stat Diminishing and give HP moar power . There , that should do the trick .

And adding to that, the reason why people complained that it should be quick was the devs gave 2-3 specific dates and all 3 of them, they have never kept their promise. They should've kept it a secret then launch it once it was finish to make sure that they don't have to wait.

TBH Everyone was on a hype about Omega, but then..... a disappointment. Whenever a game comes out, people are on a hype and they want it to be launched a soon as possible ofc. Look at Ps4 and Xbox infinity, both are on the hype atm.

Well Nvm, Omega is here and I'm not playing till the game is fixed (Maybe i'll play for the war IF it is good)

That's still the devs fault. If you run a game, you need to understand basic things like hype.
If you aren't going to have your stuff done GUARANTEED BEFORE the release date (not ON the release date or AFTER the release date), you DO NOT give a date.

If you massively overestimate yourself and tell everybody that you're gonna have an amazing update in a month, and then you end up with a mediocre update in 3 months, you brought it upon yourself by hyping it so much.

-more missions
-more cheevos that requires PVP wins
-level cap raise
-drops returns with a lower sellback value and can be used to forge items once you gather enough of them
-mini tournament
-wars

i like the idea of forging weps by drops, but it should be way more difficult than what spore and eggs rewards has been, evryone has egg shield or botanical reaper right now, and this takes away the originality of equipping theese weps.

@above the amount of drops you turn in would depend on the equipment art, cores, rarity ETC. plus these weapons won't be there forever, they would only be there for a certain amount of time then gets replaced by a new item, the replaced weapons may return the year after to be sold in-game at a high price, again depending on the cores and the art.

1) tournaments( but not like golden yeti one, I find that the worst example)

Speaking of missions, everybody PM me ideas for missions that are easy to implement. I'm working on another suggestion project that is literally a combination of

This is literally the exact opposite of true. Having 16 people on your team drastically increases your chances of having an even match.
Currently in 2v2 you either have a good partner or you don't. In 16v16 you have a number of partners, some good some bad, as does the other team.

@above what if one team has more bad partners than the other? it can happen and it will happen just like the current 2v2
unless we close up the level gap a bit more in 2v2, this is not going to work, and not to mention the lag it would create

Heh, the thread is about how to engage players in pvp, it's not about balance or perceived implementation issues pertaining to the Omega release.

@ Necromantres, I didn't even flesh out details, but you assumed it would be a 2v2 scenario. It could also be 1v1. The whole idea behind my suggestion was to add another layer to battle tokens, like the way it was when we had to farm for the tokens previously to challenge the achievement NPC's or to do the arcade! The idea is to make players do PvP to do other missions or tournaments. I see you have some good ideas to help engage players ;)

@Noobatron, if anything the Omega update did close the level gap compared to Gamma and Delta stages where it was near impossible for lower level players to beat players 5 levels higher due to stat inflation.

@Trizzy, I'm not even sure it's possible, but their would only be 2v2 or 1v1 battling at any time so I can't see how lag would be an issue other than the whole team would have to view the battle and this would require client packets to be sent as the battle progresses.

^ I disagree in delta since i had more health and more stat points to play with at a lower level i stood a chance against someone less experienced at a higher level . Now I've found unless they're a complete moron I may as well carve my tomb stone if I'm facing someone plus 5.

Delta and omega are fairly close in terms of +/-5, you're massively exaggerating them.
Beta and gamma, however, was a deathwish.
Beta was terrible for balance in general, there was a point where mercenaries were literally cannon fodder to the point that we would all laugh and say GG as soon as we saw a merc, regardless of the build.
Beta was ridiculous because of looping and smoke mass.

Ideas for PVP involvement? I have ideas for EpicDuel involvement but I will try.

• renewed animations

• larger skill trees or custom skill trees

• less reliance on RNG in PVP, more reliance on player involvement

• new backgrounds in battle

• a different regime for balance (balancing skills and stats that are overpowered, not anything that is overused)

• new battle start and battle end animations, a revamped end screen after battle

• more skill cores into the core shop

Oh gawd! don't remind me of those nasty and horrible times, lucky i was a techmage back then.
