you guys are taking out everything in the game that is good. now te stats are super low so there is no variety. epicduel has alrwady been destroyed enough and is barely
enjoyable anymore. And now they are rakimg
out the passive moves? epicduel is going in a really bad direction. im not sure what you guys are thinking but seriously, think twice about destroying epicduel even more abd actually lisyen to what the players are saying. te players are getting real mad and they arr complaining and the mods arent even listening to us. epicduel needs some really serious changes or this game will be like any other lame game

How many threads does this make?

Anyways it has gotten to a point where it's difficult for most, but not all older players to enjoy ED. Statistically ED is still getting new players. I wouldn't say it's dying quickly, but real painfully and slowly.

ED does listen to player suggestions, but I think some of the decisions with certain aspects were either carried out to early or too late. Take for instance the active passives which will soon be released. I wouldn't say that it's horrible because we don't know how they will work out, but I feel as though bringing it out came too late.

Overall I think the main issue that brings down ED is the balance and not only that, but the HP system is just lacking now which has opened up to insta-kill builds.

so let me get this straight-you are saying that currently the game is bad due to lack of build variety, and then go on to say that the new direction is bad because it will make passives actives...maybe you aren't looking at what the update will do. currently most passive abilities are necessities in every build: when was the last time you saw a bounty hunter without bloodlust, a cyber hunter without plasma armor, or a merc without mineral armor? <----that is lack of variety. The new update will hopefully provide for more variety because you will have 'x' amount of skill points to use, not 'x'-10 to get max passives.

Not new players. Most old players making new accounts buying varium at level 1 ^^ and making new factions

Legit what s/he said ^^

You people that complain about something BEFORE it even
has a chance to shine, this is what you do V

A) You wait until after it even happens

B) Then you give them a chance to fix the op/up classes(always gunna be a mistake somewhere)

C) Experiment with builds

D) If you still don't like it , suggest it go back to normal.
(If enough people support it being a god awful idea after all that then it should be fixed)

@OP, It's not dying, they're making a few adjustments and changes here and there, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that imo. Would you rather have a game that follows the same old game, no changes whatsoever, instead of having new updates that bring new features to the table? I sure wouldn't, and that's why I still play ED, cause it's in constant change and change is /good/ (for the most part)

It could be true about the advantage (enhancements) since that's how most of my friends left ED, but I would say the game has lost its touch. It's not fun anymore to play. The wars/ tournaments will make it fun but ED only do that occasionally (Once-Twice a year) and also because so many of us level cap players level up quickly, the game only does it once per a year, which is even more boring.

Unless government is small, man cannot be free.

It looks like the players are finally waking up, took them 3 and a half years to do so. You guys have also realized that all progression has halted since beta. All these balance updates are regulations placed onto the players. With each new phase, we deal with a new set of balance issues that do nothing but hinder the creativity of the players. I'm sure the devs will realize this when there are below 500 players left. Until then, just sit back and wait for it to all end. I'm still here, I may not play but I always participate on the forums.

When this game finally collapses, I'll be back. It was once fun and I'm sure it will be fun again when the Devs decide to let the players think.

This type of thread appears seemingly once a week and frankly I'm tired of it. Doomsday scenarios are about six months out of date; constantly regurgitating the same "EpicDuel is dying" material has saturated ED GD to the point where such claims are no longer about aiding the development of ED. It has become a vehicle to complain about what is allegedly wrong with the game without actually taking measures to ensure that ED remains viable. Given that this is not in ED Suggestions, I can only assume that the purpose of this thread is not to have a legitimate discussion about the steps that can be taken to improve game-play. And before someone makes the argument that ED devs do not care about ED Suggestions, I would like to point out that such a claim is patently false and is an endeavor to circumvent proper protocol.
