Hi everyone, I think this is an idea that the Devs are trying to go for. With that being said, here I go.

No Confused Carrissa, Seasonal cores are not for Summer, Winter, Fall and Spring. They are for holidays.

Heres the scenario:
It's Superbowl sunday, football fans playing ED have the excitement of football in the hearts. They enter a battle and someone uses a core that shapeshifts you into a field goal and a football gets thrown into you dealing 30 damage (Or whatever lol).

It's Christmas and the birds are chirping and children are playing in the snow, Next to Oz or Naomi of course. You enter a battle and someone uses a core that throws a snowball at you. Brr, That was cold you say! You enter another battle and a Christmas present goes into the center and open up, you become excited to know what your present is. The present comes out! It's the same snowball from earlier. It hits you in the face with the element of surprise and criticals you and you get all sad and stuff because you thought you'd get some toy or something. But you thought wrong. It's that same damn snowball coming back for seconds.

Its Thanksgiving day and guess what!? Your player is hungry for some thanksgiving food. You enter a battle and then a plate with Turkey and mashed potatoes and gravy comes at you and hits you in the face. Then from behind a snowball hits you. Its that damned snowball again!

Alright I'm kidding, theres no snowball.

It's April Fools and you're ready to go into battle. A snowball gets thrown at you but before it hits you the snowball smiles, backs away slowly, then turns around quickly splitting into 700 different snowballs each carrying BANG guns, you know the story from here. April Fools jerk!

(Things shouldn't all be snowball themed, I'm just using it to add humor to my suggestion)

Anyways, heres the technical part.

Each skill core can NOT be expensive.

Why Chosen?

Well I'll tell you Questioning Katie, These cores shouldn't be expensive so you see them more. It needs to make Epic Duel spread holiday cheer and make the battles have themes.

During holidays like christmas and halloween, Nightwraith decorates the rooms with different objects making it themed. But one thing is off, the battles arn't themed! This would be the way to do it.

And to make you arn't throwing Snowballs during the fourth of July, you wont be able to use these cores once the season is over. The cores will have about 25 charges. I think what the devs did with the titan cores is a step toward this. And it would sure make my day for this to become a reality.

What do you guys think? Are seasonal cores the future of epic duel? Let us know!

I think they've already started this. Like for today, the seasonal Titan cores. They are just available for a short period of time and only released because of Titan's birthday and will leave Titan's inventory soon.

@Sesura
But as they are right now it's to expensive. This needs to be something level 7's can afford.

@Below
A bit of both. Read the full post.

^ So your suggestion is not to introduce seasonal cores, but just to make them cheaper?

how about this:
core price scaling based on level.
at level 1 core prices start at 2k credits
increase the price by 229 credits each level
each time you level up you would have 229 credits taken away for the core
when you get to level 35 you would have a total of 10k credits taken away.

but if you choose to change the core at level 35 you would need to pay for the price of a new core which is 10k credits.
same applies for varium option, if you do not have enough credits or varium for the funds to be taken away then the core would be disabled until you have the sufficient funds.

its a bit confusing, but yeah this would solve the problem i think

In order for these seasonal cores to work they need to be cheap. Everyone needs to be able to use them in battle. You shouldn't lose credits buying it. 10 wins is 370 credits, if its a 10 charge item it should be 300.

charge cores should be cheap but unlimited seasonal cores should stay as they are, or become even more expensive than current cores ingame.

There shouldn't be unlimited seasonal cores n the first place. That would kill the purpose.
