Two days ago I reached Level 37, and only because I had the determination to reach that level before the night. I wanted to do PvP battles, but I soon gave up as it was constantly TMs or Strength BHs dealing over 230 damage per strike. (I am a tank build and my defenses are still low ) Anyways, I challenged the same NPC over and over again. After a few battles, I got bored, and I felt like stopping whatever I was doing. Then I remembered that I wanted to be Level 37, so I played even though I was bored. Before I knew it, I reached Level 37. The reason why I reached Level 37 on that day was because I had a goal, and that goal was to reach that level before the night. I was pushing really hard to become an Emperor before the end of the year (end of 2012 and the beginning of 2013) and I did achieve this, before Christmas. I pushed on too hard. :/ These were my personal goals, they have little value in-game for how I play and I don't get any rewards either; defeating a Level 40 character means I get less rewards. If the Developers add a system where there are goals (long-term and short-term), then maybe we'd have the determination to play more. We'll have a purpose to play more than we did in the past phases. Completing these goals gives you rewards. Rewards, which are fair for the duration and how much you have to work for. Something that gives an advantage shouldn't even be considered. All I want is people to have a reason to play EpicDuel. The main reason why people play nowadays is probably to get the Influence Achievements (IMO). What else is there? Edit: The rewards shouldn't be Achievements.
