 You can buy the physical Eggzooka in Xraal and Naomi's shops.

That shouldn't have even come back. 3rd promo item that was suppose to be perma rare coming back into the game. Got the aux none the less since I wanted one since I first saw it back in delta.

Well, it's nice to have the Eggzooka back after foolishly selling it ages ago, and I have Energy version too, so I wasn't one of those people who got it because it came back. Let's say I reclaimed it after making a foolish mistake. ;]

I guess they completely forgot about revamping and reimaging these items and making a second version of them so rare collectors and those who had these rares already wouldn't have their rares devalued.

Odd thing about it though is that with the bio borg and pyro fly I could understand since their effects were forever removed from the game, but the Azreal borg's effect was brought back a year ago in the form of Azreal's torment so to be honest even with that reason it could have still remained rare due to that. Oh well thanks for giving me my answer.

actually from what I saw those items were in the shops since between 12 Am and 1 Am developers time zone at least.

Also since these eggzooka's have a very high rarity and you can buy more than one, anyone trying to get rarity points and has a lot of credits could just buy a ton of these since the staff said they are letting everyone keep them as well.

Then again, this kinda defeats the purpose of the aux being an ultra rare and all...
... it also means that players who have owned this aux the whole time lose sense of pride in a way.

Oh well. Lucky me

Edit: Celtic Cleaver is the best sword...ever.

the aux still keeps it's rarity score unlike the bots that dropped in rarity by 550. But from what I read on twitter it's return was by accident.

^The value I'm talking about isn't its explicit rarity score. It's the value that cannot be measured numerically.

well those bots would have gone nearly extinct if they did not bring it back and so 1 or 2 of people who have bought it in the past can hog the whole thing and brag over some rarity with a bot they dont even use any more

Honestly, I see no difference other than nostalgic purposes and cosmetic features bringing back to the game. They really should just get rid of this "No more rares once it has been released from a previous date". In a game filled with cosmetics nowadays, that's just illogical unless it has a unique attribute that does not disrupt gameplay.

Well I for one am ticked because I cared about rarity and anyone who did care about their rarity got kicked below the belt with this move. Not only did we lose rarity on these items, but the staff never attempted to do the promise they made which was to revamp and reimage these items and put them into the game so players who didn't have the items could get another version of the same item and the people who had the first could wouldn't have their rares devalued.

It isn't about nostalgic purposes it is about principal. These items were originally promised not to come back when they went rare, then the staff made another promise that if they were to come back they would revamp and re image these items for the sake of those who did care about their rares. Both of which were broken the moment the Azreal borg came back into the game without any sort of change then one again with the bio borg.

Warrant the eggzooka coming back was an accident the other bots were deliberate.

The other rares should not return. I want them to return, but Rares should never return. I bought the Eggzooka because I like it, not because I saw NightWraith's Tweet about it.

If you are going to quit if some of the rares return, fine, that's great! Well, let me tell you this, when those promotional items were on sale, why didn't you quit? Everyone at that time had the chance to buy it, now they are back and you just want to quit?
I know that a lot of people are disappointed, and maybe this wasn't a bug, but let's face it, if we tell the Developers to not do this, then they won't.

devs prob jsut let it slip cause its just a skin now unlike the bots which influences battles so if they accidentally put gamma bot in and u buy it they will remove it

Not only do they re-release a rare but it is also FAR cheaper then what it was when it was sold for it's first and only proper time.



I think they should at least compensate those who bought the aux the first time by refunding the difference between the price now and what i was originally.

Or perhaps add some sort of art difference to the older version if it is possible. (probs not but at least the refund...)


But a refund should be the bare minimum for acceptable ethics for a company video game.
Please don't give me the crap about how they don't have to I know that, but common, not doing something here would be EXTREMELY unethical.

It would be and is a spit in the face to those who bought it first.

An accident it may be and I understand, but people who do accidents at least try to fix or resolve their mistakes!
It's basic human courtesy for christ sake.
