Which was your most memorable phase(s) and why?

Mine would have to be Beta -- Just because of the community (sorry no vid)
Secondly would be Delta -- This always brings a tear to my eye: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FzUA9txK500

Mine was delta as that was when I really started playing. I was around in beta and gamma but didn't play much. That changed in delta when I got the 10k varium pakage with the delta weapons and my tacmerc was a beast that nobody could beat. lol

My most memorable phases were Beta and Gamma.
Beta, as it was a new game genre that i played and the style of play back then was just epic.
Gamma, as i made friends with a lot of nice people and new things implemented to the game made the game experience more epic.

Delta since that was when I started. It was when I also got my first LB cheevo on my first attempt and when I won 2 vs 2 champ even when the odds were against me due to my level.

 Gamma because that is when I joined Spartan warriors, met alot of good virtuall friends from that faction until NDS decided to take a break from the game. Though xXxZ0ROxXx was the one who made me left the game when he quit. I know what he is doing in life right now and its good to see what he is doing ;).

I also used to enjoy the gamma bot pwning noobs and the bike was SIKKK!!!

mine favourate phase was gama and delta bec in gama i started playing epicduel and in delta i started buying varium

I'd have to say Delta, mainly with the awesome wars we had and the events

 Beta. Factions wars very competitive and classes were playable with counters to popular builds.

Delta: Started playing ED; was most active; enjoyed faction competition, 2v2 champ days, flag wars,...; build flexibility; met a lot of friendly players and had the most fun.

End of Gamma to end of Delta was best for me. Str TLM was epic when new classes came out and back then I could use some builds that are now laughable/terrible in Omega decently such as (support TM and caster mage) when it was gamma/delta.

gamma and delta both had the weapon/armor differences not all equal
delta had the sweet war known as infernal war my favorite war of all time.
The npc in 1vs1 and 2vs2 is half of what made that war fun. The drops were many different variety of bombs to attack the vault.
You could fight the vault and damage it in battle and hit it with a bomb <<~~~ another part of what made it so much fun.
Not only that but after each room got pasted we got a new armor with a core or something cool plus a achievement!
Then at the end a varium or credit buyable robot :D if they bring a war back out like this every player would love it.
1vs1 50% chance of fighting npc 2vs2 fight either 1 player against 1 with 2 npcs or 1 player in with 3 npcs or all players in with no npcs.
The war even had a great storyline and ending.

Gamma since that was a) when I first started b) most active c) used the forums a lot d) was actually "good" at the game and e) a lot of other players were online all the time - i think there used to be 2 1/2 full servers often. Second would be Delta, since that was the only other phase I've really played; I'm really kind of clueless about Omega and it's the new features (not really but for me at least) like cores, and damage, health, and energy in the hundreds, new skills, etc. :s

Beta for sure when they release the faction tokens and my fav marauder bike :) And then late gamma when i joined LOB and won juggernaut with 99.9% win rate

Beta- I started out. EpicDuel was tons of fun then, and I still remember the hours I spent discovering the World Map.
Gamma- Was still fun. I remember that Varium/nonVarium difference in battles, lol. I remember the triumph I took in beating a Varium player with a nonvarium character.
Delta- My main characters (Merc1225 and ReconnaisX) locked. Switched to my bounty(now cyber) hunter, continued having fun, but the game started to become less fun. That Infernal War though- I put all of my time and effort into that. Loved it. Sure made up for the outcome of the Frysteland War, lol.
Omega- I hated the balance changes. Played for a while, then quit.

Beta and Gamma were my favorite by a long shot.

My Favorite is Delta cause i met so many nice people and the wars were heaps fun too. i only started in Delta though so i never got a taste of the other phases sadly :(.

Also notice how no one is saying how Omega is their favorite phase. Kinda hinting towards 'BRING BACK OTHER PHASES!'.

 OMEGA is my FAV PHASE !!

Why ?

1. All players get to use same gun and aux :D same weapons
2. All players get same stats and skills
3. All players use same builds is they work well.
4. No one calls you a Varium Noob anymore
5. Almost everyone abuses you now when they get a block and win .. cause hey have super awesome items and luck is messin with their awesome skills
6. NPC and PVP is alike.. same thing over and over

How awesome is that :D woohoo !! this is what I love and crave !! go Epic duel goo !!

 Omega, after the passive removal and before the introduction of ranks, it was the most balanced phase of the game.

2010 Beta will always be the most memorable phase in my mind. Back then, the game was far from perfect -- the classes were unbalanced, the art wasn't at today's level and varium players had a highly unfair advantage over non-varium players. But it was the sense of a small and fun community that made it so good. It was very easy to make friends and people were nice to each other. Everyone knew the most famous players and every day the same top-of-the-tree factions would compete fiercely until they didn't have it in them to keep going. It was a beautiful time and even though gameplay is far better now, there will never be another group of players as tight as the Beta Kids.
