Here is my answer, yes. How? Can't manage factions properly, decreases thrive to play for some players, don't like wars being fought with a p2w option as a main option due to low bomb drop chances. How can this be fixed? Add in an alternative for influence that can be earned when a war is not happening. Bring back tokens, flags, and artillery strikes. Add in new faction features and/or increase bomb drop chances to 50% or higher.
