^There is no such thing as Good and Evil in ED. It's only "Winners and Losers" and most people side with the "Winners" (the Good guys/the Exiles) without even giving two craps about the cause. All it's about is "rewards, rewards, rewards," which in most games that's all some villains (a player character for example if their script is written that way) are all about, even if they have to commit to doing good. (saving the world, but expecting some payment to not perform evil) In this case, the "Losers" (the Legion) should have more players because they're Evil, the villains of the story. But due to the fact that the "Winners" always win the war and always get their prizes, everyone wants a prize that only one faction can get from winning a war. This is a rare case of when eight-year-olds, goths, emos, people with depression and people who are full of spite and malice and hate and people who bear grudges, bullies, certain popular people, (people who are loved because they're people like jocks or cheerleaders in real life, but they're jerks to everyone who is considered "lower" than them on the "totem pole," but that's more of a movie stereotype person, but people like this do exist in real life, it's rare to find them though) "cool" kids, rebels, (real-life rebels; not alignment or historical event affiliated) etc. join the forces of Good in a game where you can choose your alignment. In fact, this is the only AE game where Good always wins.
