Make it require dex so people running a support build have to put points in dexterity instead of leaving it as the base.

Most people running around have 19 dex, a 42 dex requirement for level 10 would make this build not as strong.

I support that, but i think that it would nerf CH mass but would buff BH mass dramatically. So, I feel like if mass ever needs a change then its more damage % should become lower than now at higher levels of the skill and higher at lower levels of it.

Not sure how it would buff BH. If you ditch support for dex, then you have no aux, don’t go first, get a weak static and are extremely susceptible to Kartherax.

Anyways, I believe mass doesn’t need to be changed anymore. People realized it was a weak build and changed classes and builds.

Maybe because of Kartherax incoming, but it is still too strong of a build. As I know many other people would agree.

Disregard the people who hop on the bandwagon and don’t know how to use the build.

Massacre can be very strong indeed, and this is coming from a former BH. Even with little as 36 Tech, and no Smoke used it was easily near 400 in most cases. I do believe it would benefit from a requirement of some sort, although min-maxing is popular and can be fun as I use to enjoy it. I'd say a Dex requirement would be a good idea. If other skills, even simple ones have prerequisites that need to be hit, then Supers definitely should be required too.

Switching around the requirement from support to Dex or Tech would definitely be the best choice of action. Personally would prefer a change to a Tech requirement though so to not increasing sidearm damage in the same effect Aux damage is been boosted currently.

When you do the math, Massacre is still usually actually sub-par to Super Charge and Surgical, especially considering it has no special effects besides the health steal. It does seem clear that it is the build (Support/Poison/Massacre) rather than the skill itself that is the problem, so I do support changing the requirement to Dex since that would specifically target these builds without hurting the skill itself.

I also think that, at this point, it would make sense to make all of the supers have a Cool Down of 4 turns. With so many other skills getting their Cool Down pushed back over the years (Field Medic, all the Energy manipulation skills except Static Charge and Parasite, Multi-Shot/Plasma Rain/Artillery Strike, Bunker Buster/Plasma Canon), it makes sense to me that skills of this power should also have their Cool Down longer. Right now, it is too easy to use them multiple times per battle, before the other player even has the possibility of looping heal. I guess this was more of a problem with caster Tech Mages earlier on when Super Charge was still insane, but it is still a problem with them and is somewhat of a problem with Massacre Cyber Hunters.

I thought about also making the Warm Up 4 turns, but that might be too harsh on the current Massacre builds.

@TankMage
Tech would not be a good idea since Poison and Static Charge already require it.

Having a warm up of 4 might be a bit too long, as CH and BH usually Smoke/Malfunction first or use Poison, then Massacre when the opponent is effected by those skills.

Massacre is still the weakest ultimate atm. It is strong on it's own yes, however you are forced to have extremely low dex which results in other moves throughout the battle often getting blocked as although massacre scales with tech it still revolves around str. If it was to be changed to dex it would actually be way stronger, I wouldn't mind that change but mass would certainly be stronger than it is now if you actually think it is any stronger than surg or sc which u can assure you at the moment it is not.

@Satafou
He suggested for the requirement to be changed to Dex, not the scaling. Currently, the requirement is on Support.

Thanks for the correction, I was just skim reading the post. If that's the case I wouldn't mind, less support means a weaker static emp drain, so if anything it's a buff/nerf.

@NBD That's true was looking through Bounty Hunter at the time and forgot about Static. Dex would definitely be the stronger option in that case as increasing with Tech would probably mean switching Mass to improve with different skill as well.
