If normally the Eye of Naab bth boost is over by the time you can use it (since the end of the monsters next turn is before your next turn), and the bth boost only applies to player attacks/spells, what is the point of the bth boost?

The BtH boost is probably balanced with the thought of a Beast(Warrior/Mage) build where there is a Guest and Pet to make use of the effect as explained in GBI thread.

The incorrect balance equation separately accounted for the three types of combat defenses like +combat defense miscs account for with upkeep, thus (40*3+.4*15)*7/4.25 = 207.5294 *.5 = 103.765% melee
The correct balance equation (40+.4*15)*7/4.25 = 75.765 *.5 = 37.882% melee, which leaves 62.1176% melee unused.

The bth boost page specifically says it only applies to player attacks, specials, and spells though. So no pets or guests

I think the bth boost lasts until your next turn actually.

That said, Eye of Naab was made quite some time ago, before quickcast was a thing, so... It's probably in need of a rework.

Hmm. Both the defense boost and bth boost start at 1 round when I use the shield. And become 0 rounds at the beginning of my next turn. So unless the game has different conventions for what 0 rounds means for each status condition? Which would be a little weird.

edit: Or unless 0 round durations are still active on your turn but not the monster's turn?
