Welcome back! First of all, I'd like to mention that the stat cap has been raised to 250. As a beastwarrior, you'd benefit the most from 250 Str/Dex/Cha. Secondly, in case you're unaware, several subraces have been revamped. Vampire subrace requires mp for full functionality, so the best subrace for an FO warrior would be werewolf. Go to Darkovia, complete the advanced subrace quest and get a second no-drop in the form of your subrace armor, complete with 10 skills including Str/Dex drives, a heal, a guest and sp-costing Beast Form that makes you deal 2x damage! Next, I suggest taking advanatage of the current GGB sale and spend your 1k tokens to buy the 10 GGB pack. There are quite a few useful items there, and even if you don't get URs, you can use the upgrader to change 25 Commons into a Rareor 10 Rares into a UR. Before you get any other piece of equipment, pick up Essence Orb from the Guardian Tower. It's a crazy op misc that allows you to convert hp into sp w/o a turn cost - meaning you can spam skills every single turn! Finally, before getting to the eqiuipment, I suggest you familizrize yourself with the commonly used startegies, particularly the stun meta. The basic ideais to stun-lock the monster, then crush it with powerful elelocked skills. Weapons I suggest switching your no-drop to energy, as we lack exceptional weapons for that element. As mentioned by LA, Bloodzerker's Blazing sword is the best option for FO builds, since it deals +20% damage at the expense of a negligible hp cost - unfortunately it does cost a rare, and you have better choices if you get a Rare GGB. As an alternative, I would suggest a Pzycho Sabre - the weapon compresses a fire guest (so you don't need to use a spell slot) and a combination attack that lowers monster defences. For water, you have two very good choices. Pike Pike is an old style FO weapon, meaning you deal and take +25% damage - and it also uses Cha in place of Luck, making it the perfect weapon for FO beastbuilds! Alternatively, the Kindred blade can be charged (every turn with the Kindred pet!) to autohit. Wind doesn't really an overbaundance of exceptional f2p equipment, so just get the Fujin spear for the MC bonus to special. If you got the Gloom Glaive for earth/harm, then I suggest Magnablade - the only old style FO weapon aside from pike pike, it deals +30% damage at the expense of taking +25/1.4% damage. The Gloom Glaive is your first priority for a Rare GGB, as a spear compressing earth/harm. Since WKZ costs tokens, you'll want to use a weapon-based light nuke. The basic idea here is to go into Beast Form (or Bloodzerker toggle), then activate the weapon skill to stack both damage boosts for 3x-4x damage. There are three weapons that can allow you to do so: Morningstar Cross's skill deals 2x damage, but it's a 100-proc weapon, which means it'll deal less damage in FO armors with regular attacks. Zabura's Hammer / Zakiya's Spear are more standard weapons, but their weapon skill sacrifices some damage for Blind-infliction. For darkness, you'll eventualy want either Agony's Embrace (FO weapon, +15% damage intake and output; UR) or Terror Eater (z-token) for the Snarl/Terror nuke. Until then, you can get Reaver of Nulgath (uses Cha in place of Luck) if you have a spare Rare GGB, or Reaper of Souls which gives a damage boost on special. For a more defensive playstyle, Katar of Undeath inflicts a stacking damage loss. Armors Your werewolf no-drop will cover earth with a good enough secondary to light that you won't need another armor for either of the two elements. The current meta emphasizes armors with strong elecomped skills, and that means, first and foremost, old standard armors, like Horo Show, Taladosian and WHEEL - so keep those active. Yout first priority for a UR GGB would probably be the Blazing Bloodzerker - hands down the best fire armor in the game for warriors. It deals +20% damage on all weapon attacks for a negligible hp cost, and has a toggle that locks you to 2x fire damage - great for use with Morningstar Cross-type skills. For wind, the best armors are either UR or seasonal, so I suggest just using the Rage Beast werewolf variant. For darkness, you can keep Ultimon's armor, or try out the Angel of Souls with its hp-costing skill. There are several options for a utility armor, but the best one is probably Kindred, suggested by LA. It can stack charges (that remain between battles) to use a skill that deals up to 6x damage, follows your weapon element and is boostable by CIT - which is really great for cheesing challenges and bosses. Shields Cerberus Ward compresses fire/dark to fir in CIT. For water, you'll want either the Kindred shield(chargable quickcast sp heal) or Celtic Wheel if you want enough mp to cast Moonwalker's Grace. Fujin remains the best option for wind, but I would suggest using Pies for ice, due to a Cha drive. Earth has several interesting choices. Morningstar, mentioned by LA, harms the monster when you block and heals you a little. Sol Shield gives a slight damage reduction based on your Cha. Scarab Shell has a toggle to reduce monster MRM - which increases the accuracy of not just your attacks, but also of those by your pet/guest. Spells As a beastbuild, you'd generally want to fill your spell slots with guest calls in order to get that 60% extra melee damage. Fire should be covered by either your weapon or misc, and Nezujimbo is still the best option for ice. Maple Beaver compresses water/earth - at least until you can get Doomquake Minions (z-token, 2x damage for 2x upkeep) or Sugar Gobbler (seasonal, petrification toggle). Skeeter has an hp upkeep (instead of mp or sp), which is borderline free. The best option for energy is now rare, so I suggest using the new Carnage Essence guest. In its Rampant form, it boosts the damage of your melee/ranged attacks and has a Backlash inflcited against monster Cha (which is usually 0). For dark and light, the best guests hands down are Grimlord and Mogsterio, both Rare GGBs. They have a secondary hp upkeep - but deal 2x damage to compensate (and 2x guest damage is 120% melee - almost as much as your weapon attacks in FO!). For your remaining slots, you have several options: - Purple Rain has great synergy with the meta. - Moonwalker's Grace gives a qc Dex boost. - Warrior Tower's Skill Scrolls give you a standard sp-costing str-using SPell for any element. - Sisters of Mercy give you a 50% eleshield for one turn to tank a monser nuke. Pets Undrewyrmling, mentioned by LA, is the only pet in the game that can harm monster's sp. In time, you'll want to replace him with the Flame Bot, which deals up to +50% damage for an sp cost. Kindred pet can provide charges for your Kindred weapon/shield/armor. As above, eventually you may want to pick up the Aqua Bot. Fujin's Curse and Fairy Godmother are still pretty good for their niches. Nilak's freezing potency stacks very nicely with Nezujimbo. For earth, you'll eventually want to pick up Fu Dog from UR for petrification toggle and potcency. Until then, the Morningstar pet is a fairly good choice, able to randomly inflict DefLoss or EleVuln. Pikazard has a paralysis toggle. Model 294 toggles to inflict EleVuln. Miscs As mentioned above, Essence Orb is your first priority. SFP's qc celerity is a must for the meta, and is highly useful in all situations. Goggernaut Helm provides +10 bth boost to all attacks on the field. While that's not very good for your blocking, it does also affect your pet/guest, making it the best accuracy misc available. Minotaur's Pride + Ranger's Scope cover your damage boosting. If you didn't get the Pzycho Sabre, the Grakma misc summons a fire guest that can be toggled to inflict EleVuln. Bell Shell, mentioned by LA, heals less than CoRS, but also doesn't reduce your damage. Morningstar Helm gives you paralysis immunity. Murderator Gauntlet gives both Str and Cha, as well as a chance to control the monster. Waffle Cone gives Cha and Luck, as well as boosting all ice damage dealt - not just by you, but by your pets and guests as well! Hope the info's useful and dont hesitate to ask if you have any questions! Edit: This week's quest gives some of the best items for warriors. The warmaster SPells cost sp+hp to deal an extra 50% melee, while the Panic axe allows you to eat monster fear (that werewolves can inflict with qc Snarl) to boost your accuracy and LS rate.
