Staff originally said that charisma might be added later to this, and I think when they decide to tackle charisma for the stat revamp then it will be looked at. I believe it is on the table, so have some patience. The bigger conversation which could lead to enabling this aspect is honestly in regards to whether or not the use of charisma should be viewed from a balance standpoint (the stat revamp) as a secondary stat or primary stat. I think the past reflects the idea it is a secondary, but often in real life practice it's always been a primary. With new definitions of what builds are called being created with the stat revamp, especially how the INT/DEX/LUCK went from pure mage to Ranger-Mage hybrid and those ideas being implemented, it only makes sense to view beastmasters as utilizing charisma as their main-stat with the pure beastmaster becoming Char/Luk/End and replacing any of those stats with Int/Dex/Str simply hybridizes the player. This then should justify the idea of charisma weapons as some in the past have called into question the decision to implement them. I, for one, feel as though it is OK based on the reality that beastmaster likely use charisma to fuel their character more than other stats, so charisma is their main stat. This should fuel BTH changes to pets/guests to mirror the rest of the game, and should allow to add charisma for initiative. This creates 4 main builds: Mage, Warrior, Ranger, Beastmaster....with END and LUK being the only "secondaries" and using more than 1 main is hybridization. But we will see what happens . Should be interesting.
