Quest for the Defender Orb!
Location: Battleon » Click on Robina's Shop » Quests! » The Defender Orb! (special walkaround quest) OR
Location: Battleon » Enter the Guardian Tower » Stables » Speak to Kalen (boy on the right)

Kalen: Want to try the Walk Around Quest? It was an experimental quest where you walk around and battle monsters. The rewards of this quest include Shadowsken, Shadow Orb and Twig of Death as temporary items.

Screen 1
Continue walking left to return to the town of BattleOn.

You can find a gem in the treasure chest.

Welcome to the first demo of our new walk around style quests! Please let us know what you think on the message boards. As you are playing this we are working on a much larger and full featured quest with lots of traps and prizes!

Screen 2
There's a treasure chest here that contains a gem and a Mana Potion

Like the transparency? Be sure to look for secret items! Captain Rhubarb and Tynril did an excellent job coding this! Kaley and Xyphos have been hard at work on the artwork! Adventure ahead!

Screen 3
Teleporters allow you to get to areas that are otherwise difficult to access.

There is another chest in here that contains a potion and a key.

Step on the teleporter to travel up the cliff.

Screen 4
Walk around this tree five times for some healthy excercise. Walk around it even longer for a big suprise.

You gain 2 potions for doing as the signpost sugests.

Screen 5
Hanging out with Twilly at the campfire will restore your health and mana.

If you have the key you can enter the dungeon.

Dungeon Entrance
Beware of dungeon monsters!

You can enter any of the 3 further dungeon paths.

Left and Right Dungeons
You can find a gem in the treasure chest.

Center Dungeon
This room is filled with teleporters that you need to traverse through.
You can get to a treasure chest with 2 potions and three gems.
You can also get to the next room from here.

Boss Area Entrance
You can get a mana potion from the chest.

Head left to exit, or go through the door to reach the end of the quest.

Boss Room
You are about to complete our first ever walk around quest! Win this battle and a great reward is yours. If you found ALL of the gems, you will get an even better prize! Use the teleporter to return to town.

Left Chest (All Gems): Shadowsken
Left Chest (Not All Gems): Magical Twig of Carnage
Right Chest: Defender Orb


Oh no, you are out of gems! These are special treasure boxes which can only be activated by gems. One contains the Guardian Only Defender Orb. The other box has two prizes.... but you need to find all the gems in the quest in order to get the extremely powerful one. Quest again to try out all three weapons!

Random Encounters
Battling Monsters (outside): Yikes! A random monster!
Battling Monsters (in the dungeon): Yikes! A random dungeon monster!
Battling Monsters [winning](in the dungeon): Stay on your toes. There may be more!
Battling Boss (in the dungeon): It's time to meet your doom!
Battling Boss [winning](in the dungeon): Treasure Time!
